It’s a nice jar and I like the size options but the lid is definitely not brass but more so like a brushed… aged silvery color? And also the lid has no seal so it just wobbles on top. I wish the price was a little less for what you get.

I’m always looking for ways to make my low-storage bathroom feel not only more organized, but more functional, and nicer to be in. I was looking for glass containers that made products we use every day easy to access, and also attractive in the bathroom setting. I found this jar (the bigger one in this photo) to be: * Sturdy, clean-looking, and a great fit even for bathrooms that lean more modern in style. Just as nice as other styles I considered at other stores, especially for the price. * Big enough to hold my whole supply of flossers, so I never have to wonder where I put the rest of the bag. One thing to consider: * I didn’t end up using the lids for these because I like the easy access to jar contents for kids; but the lid is also sturdy, and fits well on the jar!

What a cute jar! I got the large size to hold my Epsom salts in my bathroom. It comfortable holds 6 cups (3 pounds) of salt, as seen here in this photo. Which is a standard size bag of Epsom salt. The lid doesn't have a rubber ring on the inside so I don't think this would be good for things like rice, grains, sugar, etc. But for something that doesn't need to be completely tight it's great!
