Remote not as pictured and doens't work

This heater itself works well but the remote control doesn’t. The only button on the remote that works is the power button. Oscillate, heat setting and timer don’t work on the remote. It also doesn’t look like the remote pictured with the heater shown online.

No tip over switch

Good heater, quiet, makes heat, but it has no safety tip over switch. Poor idea.

Hi Jim. This is a great concern you have brought up. Tip-over switches were once widely used on many space heaters. The concern with a tip-over switch is that it relied on the proper function of a mechanical component that should it be damaged, or break would not provide a safety shut-off for your heater. Most heaters today come with a Thermal Overheat Protection.
