Let down
It’s basically a bath bomb. Just fizzes and dissolves

no
It was very disappointing, as per instructions, pour water to trigger reaction. No bubbling, the Reactor Pod basically fell apart and no bubbling through the Skull Mountain Volcano. Pink liquid came out of the eyes and mouth.

A fun way of hatching your Beaker Creatures..
My 6 year old absolutely loves Beaker Creatures, so was so excited to get this Beaker Creatures Skull Mountain Volcano. The Skull Mountain kit comes with one Beaker Creatures egg.. Skull Mountain with removable container for the water, and an instruction booklet to show you how to make some other experiments with your Skull Mountain set. To hatch the Beaker Creature, you had to place the egg in warm water inside the Skull mountain, and watch as it fizzes up and pours out of the eyes and top of the head. The set is well made and ideal to be used again and again! The set is fairly small, so easy to store and keep. The only thing I would say, is that I would advise buying a couple more Beaker Creatures to go with this set, as there is only one included, and if your children are anything like mine, they will want to do this again and again!

We love Beaker Creatures!
We have a bunch of Beaker Creatures due to the fact my son loves seeing which one he is going to get! Selected this one as it right up his street being a skull.💀 The egg didn't fizz as much as some of the others we have had. It was also a little disappointing it only came with one egg. Although the booklet gives you a range of experiments that you can do to get more out of this product. I think we will have great run making Slime Brain in the future. My 7 year old was able to use this independently and has another creature to add to his growing collection. He was excited to receive a limited edition, colour change creature. It could do with a overflow tray to help contain the liquid.

Disappointing
I think I may be missing something with these Beaker Creatures and in particular the Skull Mountain Volcano. The kit contains the skull mountain volcano and one beaker creature. This experiment is simply to place the 'egg' into the skull mountain and pour warm water over it to watch it fizz. Although I think it should be vinegar and not warm water as the experiment didn't work. There was no fizzing. The pink egg slowly dissolved to reveal the Beaker Creature. The booklet does give details of other experiments that could be done such as making slime or using vinegar and bicarb to make a red fizzing but all of these other suggestions require extra resources. I think we're going to make some green slime as it's nearly Halloween and pour it through the skill but other than that I can't see this getting used much in our house.

Fizzing fun
As a mad young scientist my 6 year old loves to create explosive experiments. This little set didn't dissapoint. Included in the set is an explosive egg with a beaker creature hidden inside. Just place into the skull, add hot water and watch it fizz through the eyes and down around the skull. Remember to place it on a large plate or surface that will catch the overflow! The booklet also includes lots of experiments that can be done using the skull. Great for home learning or just fun on a rainy day inside! I would have rated it higher had it come with an overflow tray, as my son decided to use it independently and forgot to put it on one. It can be quite messy!
