This science kit offers a mix of fun and educational experiences for young guests, encouraging exploration and creativity. While many guests appreciate the engaging activities and colorful design, concerns about the quality and functionality of certain components, such as the microscope and connecting tubes, have been noted. Despite these issues, the kit provides opportunities for hands-on learning and can be a great addition to playtime, especially for those interested in science.

Poor Quality, do not buy!
So disappointing, the tubes, funnels and stoppers do not fit together and fall right apart. Wish I would have looked at the more recent reviews. While it looks beautiful, nothing works as it should. Do not buy!

Disappointing
The tubes do not connect. The microscope never has a clear image. Very disappointed.

Nice
Has fun ideas on the cards. The parts are somewhat cheap and they tip over often. For the most part it’s fine but gets annoying. My son still likes it though!

Disappointed with the poor quality
This toy had such great potential but the bad quality of the parts makes the toy almost unusable. The microscope is very difficult to use - pretty much impossible for a 3-4 year old, and not due to its complexity. The tubes do not connect to the funnel and keep falling off on its own. If you add any water/liquid, it will surely fall and make a mess everywhere. The glasses have sharp edges and might pinch a child's finger. The adjustable stand is flimsy and keeps falling. If it was weighted at the bottom it would work. The kids of the sensory tubes don't fit well - you can eve see it on the packaging image. I should have spotted that. The eyedropper isn't long enough. We ended up using another one. The activity cards should have been spiral bound to keep them together. All in all, this is a toy seems like it was designed by someone who doesn't know how kids play. Save your money and buy a Nat Geo kit instead.

Hello and Thank you for sharing your feedback. The tubes are a little tricky to keep on, but once attached it should not easily be removed. We are always looking for ways to improve our products and could not do that without your feedback, I will be sure to pass this information along to our team. We do appreciate your continued support in our products.

High hopes but pretty disappointed
My 3 yr old received this as a Christmas gift. She is pretty advanced and able.to understand a lot ofnthe experiments but most 3 yr olds are just gonna be watching these experiments so think 3 is a bit young. My biggest issue is the quality. I am not sure if we just got an off kit but the microscope is near impossible for a kid to use because if the eye piece gets pushed on with any weight at all it moves it and then unfocused it. My 6 yr old and 10 yr old had issues with it so not sure if ours is just way to loose and is not built right or if it is the way it is designed. The tubes don't stay on and the purple holders don't keep anything level. The top of the large tube also doesn't screw on well and you have to fight it on one side. The threads are a bit off. Again not surenifnitnis every kit or we just got a bunk one but super disappointed. My toddler loves science and doing experiments and we have other kits and science toys and this has by far been the hardest for her to use and the worst built. I'll probably look to spend another $60 on a national geographic kit or something that is made better. This kit makes me not want to buy from this brand again which is unfortunate since they have so much science and educational stuff but if it is poor quality amd I have to create workarounds for everything not worth it. Wished it would have worked out as we would have bought kits for the Montessori classroom but gonna pass. Too bad, it had so much potential.

Terrible quality
Numerous items in the set did not work properly, pieces did not attach properly. I also assumed that it came with all the items for the experiment cards included, but it did not so this was not something you can get an use right away, you have to plan ahead to make sure you have the extra items needed.

Stick with the primary set and save your $$
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Deluxe set seemed like a step up from the Primary Science Lab Set, but the tubes don't connect properly and it falls over. The microscope does not work well, and the experiments are not that exciting either. The tools are well made, but the items don't work well together for the price. Stick with the primary set and save your money.

My son loved using this set and often asks to play with it again! He loved using the tools and seeing the changes occur. I liked that he had to follow directions and use some problem solving skills.

Think this is a great science kit!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My class loved using this product to investigate science and make science experiment! They loved mixing and pouring using fine motor skills. It was fun to see them using science tools that were bright colored and easy for them to use on their own.

This product is for older children then in my classroom
This was an interesting game for the preschool classroom. It was a little harder for them to understand the terminology. When trying to teach them about mixing liquids and making new liquids and asking them their hypothesis they didn't comprehend what would happen. They used certain guesses such as the liquid would turn to pizza and so forth. I would recommend this to a kindergarten classroom where they are able to understand more of the vocabulary associated with this lab kit!

Would Definitely Buy Again
This is a great lab set. My 7 year old loves to play with it and his older sister (10) likes to play with him when he takes this out. This set is quality construction and I really like the Key concepts that are listed on each experiment card - they allow them to further research the topics on the computer. The experiments are easy to read and understand and this is a great way to play and learn together. I received this product as part of an incentivized review program but would recommend to anyone to purchase in the future!

Great Starter Kit for your budding scientist
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This science kit was sturdier than I expected. The packaging easy to open and to store the items when not in use. The microscope is a nice introduction for kids and seems pretty durable and very simple to assemble. The other pieces work relatively well together; though the stand doesn't grip the plugs very well leading to a precarious scenarios with liquids, tubing, and funnels. The first time we played with it we did a few of the experiments that we could do with things we had on hand. The instructions are on durable cards which as a parent I appreciate a lot. They won't get immediately ruined. The instructions are very word heavy and light on the diagrams so an adult is needed to traverse the set-up and execution. My kid (5 years old) loved the whole thing though. In between experiments she would rearrange things, put pieces together and look at any objects within reach under the microscope. I will continue to use the set, but might source the experiments myself via an online resource.

Unique and exciting toy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 year-old loves to play with water and this toy takes water play to the next level. He can play with it on his own or we can do experiments together. The goggles, dropper and microscope are so cute and great quality! The best part about it is that I know he an use it for years to come with more sophisticated experiments and it appears that it will hold up to use over the years.
