This is going to be an Easter gift for 4year old grandson. It looks like it will be fun and educational. He has enjoyed other science kits so I think he will enjoy this too.

Fun and Engaging for Everyone!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Learning Resources for sending my family the "Fizzy Volcano Preschool Science Lab," as a free sample! Everyone was excited to get started on the main event, the Fizzy Volcano! I will note, while the set does include a few test tubes, funnel, stirring spoon , base and beaker as well as a few plastic dinosaurs, there will be a few additional things you may need to purchase to use the set. We were able to find vinegar, baking soda and food coloring at our local dollar store! Getting the Fizzy Volcano set up was really easy! There is a booklet in the set that will have a few activities for your family to try. We tried the fizzy volcano as well as the ice age fossil activity. Our son was so excited and super eager to be a part of the volcano set up , he made sure we tried a volcano in every color! We also loved creating a story about how our dinosaurs became fossils and watching them slowly melt away (we watched one fossil melt on its own and we aided another with some coarse salt to make a game or time). Fun and engaging for all ages, we couldn't be happier!

Excellent Preschool Science Lab!

We were very pleased with the great variety of equipment and resources to complete multiple experiments. The lab is great to follow the directions and durable for toddlers to play independently.

So much fun for young kids!

This comes with the basics but you need a lot of supplies.

A explosion of fun for my kiddos

Awesome Lab!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This volcano lab is great and my 5 year old son says two thumbs up! The kit includes numerous activities and all are easy to set-up. My son enjoyed the dinosaur/fossil theme which encouraged him to engage and play more. Having the beaker and test tubes made this much easier to have the volcano effect compared to similar previous at home/diy activities we have done. It was really easy cleanup and the items are made out of thick sturdy plastic that feel like they will last a long time. Overall I would recommend!

Reusable, durable and allows preschool to enjoy STEM
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My child had the opportunity to try this Learning Resources fizzy volcano preschool science STEM kit recently and I wanted to share our results. First, the kit has several plastic pieces which are pretty durable. There's plastic test tubes with lids, dinosaur figures, volcano and even a larger eye dropper meant for smaller hands. Most things store in the volcano tray so it keeps the pieces together when you're not using it. There's an instruction booklet included that has recipes for different experiments including a good old baking soda volcano and also how to make putty for your dinosaur fossils. I like that the kid is designed for younger children who still want to participate in experiments, but you don't want them to have anything that could break such as glass. The pieces are pretty durable. This was such an enjoyable kit that even my 8-year-old wanted to play with it and conduct experiments using it.

Such a great product!

The kids had so much fun they didn't even realize that they was learning at the same time. I would definitely recommend to fellow daycare or preschool teachers or just parents wanting to have a fun learning night with their kids.
