At first she had a little trouble staying focused and figuring out how everything worked, but by her second attempt she was already improving and becoming more engaged. She especially liked the variety of images she could create and enjoyed seeing her progress as she worked through different designs. It’s a fun activity that encourages creativity, patience and concentration. Overall it’s been a positive experience and she looks forward to making more pixel art creations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kept my kids busy. They love are so it was perfect for them. It’s lightweight and colorful. The only annoying thing about it is the clean up because they are small pieces but it’s not a deal breaker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The box says it's for children 5 & up, yet my 2.5 year old has been having a blast with it! Great for dexterity, creativity, imagination, etc. He did put one little colored foam square in his mouth at one point, but ultimately that's a risk letting a child under 5 play with it. Fortunately he spit it out right away, so no issues!

The PRECISION of the design cards helps kids create detailed and colorful artwork while building problem- solving skills. THE MAINTENANCE is easy because the pieces can be quickly organized and stored after use. REFRIGERATION is not required for this product, which makes it convenient to use anytime. SAFETY is important to activities to keep kids engaged and entertained. Overall this is a fun educational and creative stem activity that my child loved.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from influenster in exchange for my honest reveiw, and it has been such a fun surprise for my kid, its one of those toys that looks simple at first, but once they start using it you realize how much learning is packed. My kid loves matching the colored pegs to the pattern, and i love watching how focused and proud they get when the picture starts coming together. The best part is how it secretly builds fine motor skills, color recognition and early STEM thinking without feeling like learning time. It keeps my child busy in the best way- calm, creative abd fully engaged. The board is sturdy, the colors are bright, and the templates are easy for beginners but still exciting. I always loved learning resources because they are very great for early learning for the kids.

It challenges them in the best way, the instructions are simple but it makes them use their thinking skills. The pieces are small and made of foam, I do wish they were made of a harder material so they can last longer. I feel like the foam is more likely to rip or get easily damaged. Otherwise I really love this activity and so do the kids.

My kids fought over who would make the first build while the others waited patiently for their turn. They actually sat and built out the different pieces and the books made it easier yet engaging for my kids ranging from 4 years old to 11 years old. This is a fun way for kids to engage in STEM activity that doesn’t involve electronics that they actually enjoy. If your child loves legos, building, or art this is great! The only downside (which wasn’t that big of a deal) is that the blocks are foam. I was expecting durable plastic cubes, and was a little disappointed they were foam- easier for kids to tear/ disfigure. I would give it a 5 star if the pieces were more durable.

It's easy to set up and has a booklet to show you how to make really neat pictures. When my daughter started to make pictures it just came natural to her she made it look so easy and she has fun while doing it. Any four or five year old would be capable to do this it's so simple. My daughter has gotten better with concentration this is powerful it really helps alot. The compatibility is just amazing.

My daughter made a pizza with the guided instructions and my son used his imagination to create a Zelda sword. There are so many different ways to use this set, which keeps them entertained while encouraging creativity. Such a fun hands on activity .

He really enjoys the variety of images and activities. The book has many different difficulties and skill levels and I love watching him try to figure them out. The pixels and board are great quality and will definitely last a long time. The only complaint I had was how difficult it is to take the pixels out once complete to do another. It’s good because the cubes stay in place while creating the images but my son has a tough time removing them after so he always needs my help. Overall, this is a great activity and I would definitely recommend!

The set comes with a board, a bunch of small foam cubes that can be inserted in the board to create various designs, and a pamphlet with various design inspirations. To be honest, assembly process was a bit difficult to hold the attention span of my 5 year old as it requires patience and lots of mobile dexterity, but my 9 year old loved it.

As a parent, I love toys that keep my child engaged while actually building skills, and STEM Explorers™ Pixel Art Pro does exactly that. My 5‑year‑old is drawn to all the different design choices and loves following the picture challenges to see an image come together on the board. At the same time, she's just as happy sorting the little pixel cubes by color before she even starts building, which adds another layer of play and learning. The jumbo grid and bright colors make it easy for her to focus, and placing the cubes helps strengthen fine motor skills and hand‑eye coordination. I also appreciate that the activities introduce early math and coding concepts in a completely screen‑free way. Whether she's working through the guided challenges or creating her own pixel designs, this set keeps her entertained while encouraging creativity, problem‑solving, and independent play. It's become a go‑to activity in our house for both structured learning time and free play.

Bought this as a screen‑free STEM toy for my kids and honestly didn't expect it to get this much use. The re-playability is huge—you can make a design, take it apart, and rebuild something totally different every time, so it doesn't feel like a one‑time activity the way some other pixel or diamond art projects feel. They like using the challenge booklet when they want something to follow, and that's where a lot of problem‑solving and logic sneaks in. They're figuring things out step by step, paying attention to order, and fixing mistakes when something doesn't line up (definitely working on sequential thinking and spatial skills without realizing it). Other days they skip the challenges and just free play, making their own pixel art designs and characters. I especially like the challenges where you don't know exactly what you're building until you start-- they are delighted to see the image come to life. I like that the pieces are light and not sharp. The board is large, but it's overall easy to store the entire set. It's a really nice mix of creative play and learning. Keeps their hands busy, builds focus and fine motor skills, and doesn't feel like "work" to them at all. This is one of those STEM toys that actually gets pulled back out instead of forgotten. I would absolutely repurchase this set as a gift for other kids, or I would consider buying a second set to unlock more building options!
