Made of high-impact plastic, it features a built-in weight case and lid, 10 brass weights (1 g–50 g), 2"H removable pans and zero adjustment knob. Total capacity = 2000 g with ±0.5 g accuracy. Each pan can hold ½ liter of liquid.

Can't put a price on learning
I initially purchased this balance as a donation / gift for my son's Montessori school. Unfortunately it arrived damaged (complements to FeDex driver who tossed the package into my neighbor's driveway while it was raining). Speaking to your representative was a pleasant surprise . She answered quickly with no waiting in hold. Was very apologetic and replaced my product at no cost. Now the scale… It is well made, has real brass weights. My son and his classmates love it. More importantly his teacher considers this item a must have in her classroom.
