Learning Resources Sight Words Toss Game

My son already has pretty good reading and spelling skills but I think it is a good thing to work on those skills continuously but especially over summer break. We have been able to play with this set outside without worry since it is so durable.

I found this product to be fun, durable, and great for educational purposes! I homeschooling my two children, and they both very much enjoyed playing it! I would highly recommend this to any parent or teacher of young kids, especially for sight word review or introductions. Definitely worth every penny!

This is a fun learning game that I think would be great for parents and teachers. It does have 5 levels so kids five and up can play and strengthen their word knowledge. I like that your child can grow with the game so if they are a first grader like mine they will have first second and third grade level sight words. I would see this as a fun gift for kiddos whos birthday are in the summer before school or for kids to use during the summer to keep a fresh mind of their sight words. I'd highly recommend to anyone that wants an educational game to play with family or friends that include children. If this was not a free product for a review I would buy this fun little game with my own money. It benefits your child while having fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very impressed with the quality of this game. The cards and bean bags are pretty durable. It came with a ton of sight words, 220 to be exact! It's easy to play and the whole family can join in. My daughter will learn a lot of new sight words after playing this game. She likes to set it up and throw the lilly pads out. Kids can play this together and learn new skills while having fun which is what I like most about this game. I love watching my child laugh and smile while she's also using her brain! I would recommend this sight word game to anyone with kids or a teacher for the classroom.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved these figures and fun games for my child. The truth is, my child is learning a lot with these colorful figures and with letters and shapes. I love sharing with my child using them. They are very educational, fun and help me to help him learn a lot in his first years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was great to set up indoors on a recent rainy day. Both our 7 year old and 2.5 year old loved it. The 7 year old obviously could play it more than his younger brother but he still enjoyed tossing the bags and saying some of the words. It's a great way to encourage communication

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Years ago, when I taught special education, a big part of my reading instruction included the Dolch sight word list recognition. Memorizing these high-frequency words, understanding that the pronunciations don't necessarily correspond with typical English "rules", is absolutely essential for blooming readers, especially youngsters or kids with special needs. This said, I would play a similar game to this one with my students back in the day, but I had to MAKE IT. It would've been so nice to have this in the cabinet to quickly pull out and play after lessons. I hadn't thought about playing that game with my own child until I got this game for free in exchange for my honest review. He loved it! Any time he can throw something, he's all in. He is a blooming reader himself and prone to frustration, but turning sight word memorization into a game like this removed the frustration when he was challenged. We had several good conversations and I truly think this game has and will help him pick up those tricky sight words!

We will continue using this game over the summer break with our 1st grader so he doesn't forget what he has learned over the break.
