Q: Does the set come with an instruction booklet, for directions to build specific items?

submitted by Granny - 9 years ago
  • A: Yes. If you looo carefully on the box, it says “ideas included” I have bought several of these and they always come with the booklet.

submitted bySavannah - 9 years ago
  • A: sorry we only manufacture Lego sleepwear

  • A: It definitely should but No it does not.

Q: I know the age says 4, but does anyone think it would be a bad idea to give it to a 3 year old?? I think my son would love this

submitted by notveryhappy - 10 years ago
  • A: My daughter is 3 yr old and 3 months. she plays it a lot at her preschool and loves it a lot. So I think as long as you tell your son not to put anything into mouth and watch him all the time, it should be fine

submitted byGloria - 9 years ago
  • A: Our 3 1/2 yr old grandson has been using this size Lego for over a year. He doesn't put things (except food) in his mouth. The only issue he has is not being able to press hard enough to click small pieces together. (Isn't that what grandparents are for?) Other than that, he handles these well an LOVES them. Highly recommend!!

Q: Do I need to buy more baseplates? I have two children and sometimes others may join them to play

submitted by JWest - 19 days ago
  • A: All creative builds included in this box can be built together or individually. The baseplate included will be for a specific build marked in the building instructions. However, if they wish to use the bricks for creative free play separately, additional baseplates can help but not required to play with these bricks. - Priv, LEGO® Customer Service

submitted by Boogeejo - 7 months ago

Q: What size are the bricks? I'm not looking the real tiny ones

submitted by Debbie - 2 years ago
  • A: This set contains standard LEGO® bricks. They come in various sizes, from 1x1 to larger pieces, and there are 484 pieces in total. – Alina, LEGO® Customer Service

Q: Can some of these pieces be used with Duplo Legos?

submitted by Ann - 2 years ago
  • A: Yes! DUPLO® and LEGO® bricks are compatible and can be used together, but there are some limitations. DUPLO bricks fit best on larger LEGO bricks and may come off easily from smaller pieces. LEGO plates also won't fit on DUPLO pieces and neither will LEGO pieces with an odd number of studs along one side, such as a 1x2 or 2x3 brick. - John, LEGO® Customer Service

Q: Does the lid click closed, or just sit on top of the box?

submitted by PCinSurfCity - 2 years ago
  • A: The lid clicks closed securely. It doesn't just sit on top of the box. – Alina, LEGO® Customer Service

Hours of fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely wicked toy! My 3.5 year old and her dad play with this for hours! I didn’t expect it to come with a booklet of instructions of all the things we could make with the box of Lego so that was very handy and there’s even more things online that we can make too. Super fun to build and to play with the finished products. The only downside to the suggested builds I noticed that id build one item from the booklet, move onto a new item and then realise that I need a piece out of the previous build but I’m already too deep in by that point, sometimes it’s easy to switch out the piece for a similar one.

Its a used item!

I purchased this online and pick up in store. Didn’t open right away but saved it for kids bday for another occasion. When we open it turned out it is used. It’s missing a lot of parts and the packings inside are opened. Must of been someone’s return and Target didn’t check! Very disappointing.

Great value

I chose this as I feel there can be more creative play when using your imagination. Recipient has quite a few brick & box sets so this will help to make bigger and more colourful builds. Not been built yet as it will be a gift but contents checked. Recipient will love

Expensive, but good lego set.

My son loves Legos, so I bought him this huge Lego kit to build whatever he wants. He has autism so he got really mad when he couldn’t build one of the figures perfectly. The directions aren’t the best so it’s not good for an autistic child, but for what the Lego builder set is, it’s good.

My 4 year old son loves to play with them but he unfortunately is still too small to be able to build a lot of things on his own.
Cute but not good quality
