A: Yes. If you looo carefully on the box, it says “ideas included” I have bought several of these and they always come with the booklet.

Q: I know the age says 4, but does anyone think it would be a bad idea to give it to a 3 year old?? I think my son would love this

A: Our 3 1/2 yr old grandson has been using this size Lego for over a year. He doesn't put things (except food) in his mouth. The only issue he has is not being able to press hard enough to click small pieces together. (Isn't that what grandparents are for?) Other than that, he handles these well an LOVES them. Highly recommend!!

This toy is definitely not for young children under 3. It has a lot of small legos that can be choking hazards. My 4 year old boy loves building things with them. It comes with a few pages of step by step directions on how to built different things.

Love this for 6-7 years and older. The pieces are tiny and not age appropriate for littles (even though the box says age 4). My very intelligent child still would need an adult to build and stay coordinated with the pieces. SUPER NICE SET THOUGH

I purchased this to have at my house (Gma) because my soon-to-be 5 year old grandson is obsessed with Legos. They came to Easter dinner and he was so excited that I had a table all set up with Legos for him so create with. The fact that it also had a train (he LOVES trains), was a bonus! A house without Legos is a house without imagination.
If they build it, they will have fun.

Comes with building instructions and the items are easy to assemble. You can go online for more ideas. My daughter loved this set.
