LEGO Icons Bonsai Tree Home Décor Set 10281

I think the set is beautiful and I love the concept of changing the branches to white/pink however I hate that the pieces don’t stay together at all. Any time I move the set slightly, part of the branches come off and it’s such a struggle to get them back on without knocking anything else off. The pieces are very loose.

Bought as a gift

I liked the concept, but there needs to be a storage drawer in the base to keep the blossoms in when not in use. This took 3 to 4 hours to put together.

Love how this looks as decor

it was fun to put together. and I thought they were pink flowers, for the blossom part, but they are flowers and pinks frogs. super adorable.

I built this to inspire me to be more peaceful. It lives in my classroom behind my desk. I have a cherry blossom light cover for extra ambiance. And my Ahsoka Tano and R2-D2 figures fit perfectly.

The bonsai tree is great to start, has you get to the branches the trunk starts to break and fall to bits. Not a good model and so many small pieces not to lose.

Which is the fantastic thing about Lego, you can spend 30minutes here and there building away. The instructions are mostly easily to follow. I’m autistic so sometimes the images I perceive are back to front (difficult to explain) but I always figure them out. This is such an adorable product! I love that I can change the seasonal look, and the frogs that make up the blossoms are to cute!!!

Absolutely the worst build ever. Instructions in the booklet are horrible. The colors in the booklet are all brown and you need a flashlight to distinguish pieces. Not sure if I will finish this tree as I can't figure it out. Basically just kinda making it work

This LEGO Bonsai Tree was such a joy to build! I absolutely loved every step of the process. It was entertaining, relaxing, and the final result is seriously stunning. The details are so creative—especially the pink cherry blossoms made out of tiny LEGO frogs and flowers. It’s such a clever and artistic touch! The build was easy to follow but engaging, and the finished piece looks amazing on display. It adds a peaceful and elegant vibe to my shelf, and everyone who sees it is impressed that it’s made from LEGO. If you're looking for a calming, beautiful project that's fun to put together and looks great in any room, I highly recommend this set. Definitely one of my favorites!

absolutely great set, just a bit expensive. lots of pieces, free pieces were awesome representing gravel or dirt in the pot. love it. just quite expensive for a broke college student.

Very nice bonsai. I love the trunk details, the customization offered and the rubber feet. Still not sure if the base really contribute to enhance the set.

Makes a lovely display piece, though the building process can be a little repetitive at times, plus you can change the leaves from green to pink and white as and whether you like!

Makes a wonderful LOTR Treebeard! You have a lot of left over pieces, but looks amazing!

So disappointed in this product. Not worth the money and a huge waste of time. My son and I love putting Lego sets together and this one is so poorly thought out that after numerous attempts of trying to put it together just to have it completely fall apart over and over again, we finally threw it away. I was looking forward to displaying it on my home as it was a birthday present from my son but no such luck.
