Description

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LEGO set is a fantastic addition for anyone who loves Spider-Man. It consists of 393 pieces and, once completed, measures over 3 inches high, 2 inches wide, and 9 inches long. I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun I had assembling this set, especially since it was my first experience with Lego kits. The instructions were easy to follow, and the pieces were conveniently sorted. Once completed, the train feels very sturdy, and I was particularly impressed with how smoothly it rolls. I was not as impressed with how easily the webbing becomes unattached. I also appreciate that I can place the action figures either inside or outside the train for added variety. However, be aware that there are some very small pieces in this kit, so I strongly recommend adhering to the age restrictions indicated on the package.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kids absolutely loved putting this together! Comes with separate bags and really easy instructions on how to put it together. You start with bag 1 and finish with bag 3. This makes finding the pieces so simple and helps from having the pieces get mixed up. Once this Spider-Man train scene was together the wheels of the train actually roll, giving the kids even more hours of fun!

So we decided Grandpa will keep it and they can put it together with him. (Bonding time) And when they get ready to leave they take it apart and put it away for the next one. This will last years. The box itself looks so Kool it just draws you in. I like that it list the minimum age also

The mini figures are great, and the build is good. 390 pieces and 4 figures for 55 is not a good value at all, considering the build is just a train. If there was more to the build or more figures the price would have been fine. The set is Overpriced because Lego knows Spider-Man movie fans will eat this up! Don’t purchase until the price is dropped.

Instructions were simple to follow as expected. I love that multiple characters are included and that you can switch between Spider-man’s mask and his face. Doc Oct looks awesome. The train windows can open and close which is a really neat touch.

For LEGO collectors born in the 2000s, this is a perfect set — worth getting just for the minifigures alone. The display features LEGO now includes in its sets are excellent, and I highly recommend picking it up.

The instructions are always very detailed so it’s not frustrating to put together. I love the mini figures and details this set has to offer. The quality of this set is immaculate. My son and I had so much fun building it. It’s for ages nine and older with 393 pieces. Highly recommended for a fun time, especially if you like marvel!

the spider man minifig is great and doc ocks arms are the best they've ever been, its bigger than i expected, it looks AMAZING on display but the price?! horrendous!! i only picked it up because I found it at another retail store at nearly half the price! and I think that was a little overpriced still!!

This set is nearly perfect, in terms of playability and display value! If I was a kid I could imagine many fun ways to play with this set, a cool villain vs the hero with innocent civilians to save! Even if you just want to display the set there are plenty of options for different poses and scenes you can do. The only draw for me is of course the price, which is far too high but that can be said for most LEGO sets these days.. Overall, 10 year old me would have loved this set and 26 year old me loves it too!

This was probably my most anticipated set for the August release. The build was fun and the minifigures are great (although not the most accurate). Makes a fantastic display piece and a good representation of that scene. The way you can customize the scene is an added plus. The only thing is that the piece that attaches the webs on the train is really loose and falls off easily. Also the price is a bit expensive but for me totally worth it!

I never thought we would see a set from a non-MCU movie, let alone a new Raimi Trilogy set after 20 years, but here we are, and honestly this is pretty good. The lack of play features can be a point of contention for some, however I feel like this set is primarily made for the people that grew up with this movie, which isn't a bad thing. The minifigures are very well done for the most part, Doctor Octopus' coat should have been dark green instead of brown, however in the movie, the lighting in some scenes makes it appear brown, so it still works. Overall, an amazing representation of one of the greatest scenes in superhero movie history and a great remake of an older set. I hope this set leads to more sets based on non-MCU movies and especially more sets based on previous Spider-Man movies.
