Very lightweight. After only a few uses I already see rusting on the screws even though I dry well after washing. The apple corer doesn’t stay tightly in place. I’ve got to hold it until it starts coring. The base doesn’t stay suctioned either. I’ve tried many surfaces. It does make peeling easier but not without effort.

Great Tool
Does a great job of peeling without wasting good apple. Slices end up the perfect thickness for my dehydrator. Only knock I have is the weak suction cup. I easily remedied that by mounting it with screws to an old chopping block. I'm buying another one as a backup. I say buy with confidence.

Get one of these peelers
This peeler makes applesauce much easier. I saved over an hour by using this peeler versus a knife. Do yourself a favor and get one of these if you make anything with apples.
