    Too difficult - too expensive

    Is it possible to be too filtered? The straws make my tongue and jaws sore trying to drink water. Hoping I can return for a full refund.

    Fantastic for No Lid Use but Too Big/ Thick for Cups with Lids

    The straw works great! No complaints about the function and easy to clean. The only thing I was disappointed by was it is too thick for me to use with my Starbucks Tumbler or cups of that nature.

    Challenging

    This straw works amazing at filtering water and helping it taste great. Getting the water to come through the straw is a different story. My spouse and I both had trouble getting water to come up through the straw, and when it did come up it was a very small amount. At the rate it came up, a glass of water could last all day!

    Helpful product

    Great product with a very helpful ability to protect yourself from germs and bacteria and parasites but could be a little easier to suck on to get m the water out. Of course, I have emphysema, however my wife also thought it was a little difficult to use. Maybe we just need practice

    Portable and works great!

    I do a decent amount of traveling and this little straw provides a great option for ensuing I'm drinking clean water no matter where I am! I love that I can just stick it in my bag. I'm good about cleaning and drying it after each trip.

    Works great

    I have MCAS so I can only tolerate water that’s been heavily filtered like through a lifestraw filter. I bought this for traveling out of town. I didn’t see any instructions saying to rinse the filter before use but I think you need to because the first time I tried drinking bottled water through this straw filter, my immune system reacted to it. The second time I used it I didn’t have that issue. I will always make sure to bring this and my stainless steel water filter bottle with me when I travel because I know I’m safe with lifestraw.

    Aurora: Not as pictured

    The gradient is vertical instead of horizontal, you have to twist it to see other colors. Yellow and orange color isn't even present. The only reason to buy it over a three pack is for aesthetics. . . so it should appear accurately on the website.

    Thank you, LifeStraw for designing and manufacturing the Sip. I really like how portable it is. I use it, as well as a Lifestraw picture and water bottle depending on the situation, due to a lung disease that prevents me from drinking water from any source. I am grateful I can drink from the Sip knowing it’s safe for me.

    Love this straw!

    I use this everyday and it gives me peace of mind to know i can now trust the water I am drinking in restaurants and at home. I use it even when drinking bottled water. The only drawback is that I haven't found a stainless steel tumbler that has an opening large enough for the straw to fit through.

    Needs a better carry case

    Great idea. Zipping water and through this straw requires a bit more suction work on ones part. Aldo the carrying case is not ideal . Can get moldy easily . LIFESTRAW PERSONAL STRAW FILTER CARRY CASE May be a better option if only it’s long enough.

    Not sure

    seems to have its own odd flavor, don't know how to make sure it is really dry enough so it can safely be stored. I blew threw it vigorously, tapped it on a paper towel. til no moisture mark appeared on the paper towel.

    Convenient

    It’s easy to carry my life straw in my purse to remind me to drink water and to use it. It takes a moment to adjust to the draw but worth it if the benefits are as marketed. I gave as gifts to several friends.

    Tasty water

    I like the idea of drinking safer water. And after using the LifeStraw, the water did taste good. However, my single complaint is the difficulty at using the straw. Even after the initial first draws on the straw, I still found it quite hard to bring water up. I expected it to get much easier after the first couple of sips. As the instructions state. But it never did. I will use it when necessary. But not practical for everyday use in my opinion. Too hard to sip on.

    Larger than I realized but great for emergency stash

    1000 liter use is impressive for the size. I have not tried to use one yet. I wanted to give these for gifts. One person was thankful to have an emergency water item so small and the other declined the gift saying it was too large to use on a regular basis. I think they are a nice and stylish option but too large for every day use in general. I would personally use it if out and about but some may not want to. Still recommend Lifestraw as a great product.
