Looks great; assembly a bit unclear even with online instructions
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looks really sturdy and it’s a great size. It does make a really loud sound when closing and wears trying to figure out what’s. It quite right. There are several screws that screws into spots that didn’t have predrilled holes and even ended up sticking out oddly. Those instructions shud also have explained and spelled that out when they only said, “don’t tighten fully,” it would have made a huge difference. The cover was slightly damaged but we assembled it anyway and hope to get a lot of good use from it., regardless. I don’t think itye time and effort to replace it would have been worth the effort.

Problematical…
In general, this is a reasonably high quality product, except: they want you to have two copies of a specific wrench, which is silly because nobody has two copies of the same wrench, and more importantly, various screws and bolts were simply not the right sizes to assemble this thing. So, I’m pretty frustrated right now…

Love Love Love It!

I ended up buying three of them after I saw how nice they were compared to previous brands I purchased! OMG, the 116 gallon model is a wonderful size. Everything assembled lined up perfectly. 100% recommend this model, and frankly, any Lifetime product! They have an excellent warranty too!

Great product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually love this product. It’s very well made, durable and sturdy. Can’t confirm it it’s waterproof yet but I’m anxious to find out. I couldn’t rate 5 stars because it was extremely difficult for me to install the screws in the lid with a drill. I’m a female and assembled it myself but I had to purchase an impact driver to complete the job and even had some trouble with that. But I got it done and I’m proud of that. The instructional video is great but it would’ve been easier if I’d had the tools in the demonstration. I would recommend this product though.

So much better than Rubbermaid deck boxes!
It is so much sturdier than other deck boxes I have had. One of the parts that came with the box was faulty. I contacted them and they said they would send me the replacement part right away. I definitely recommend anything made by Lifetime.

Good instructions-except.
right & Left sides didn’t see marking. The corner screws on step 1.1 had to be removed so bolts on step 2.6 would align. One gas arm had broken clips - expecting a replacement

Great customer support
Had a problem with a part, called the number on the documentation, and was connected immediately to a wonderfully helpful representative, who very courteously and expeditiously ordered my replacement part. This is so refreshing in an age when such customer service seems to be almost entirely a thing of the past. Bravo, Lifetime!

Lifetime of storage
We purchased this deckbox in 2015 and it has been a great box to store our cushions in during the summer. Watertite, and weather resistant. We recently had one of the hydraulic hinges break, and the company is sending a replacement for free. Thank you lifetime! a great company to work with!

Unsustainable Products
When I bought this storage deck box for "OUTSIDE" use (as labeled) I expected the materials and hardware to be sustainable for outside conditions. Little did I know that under a years time while under a covered patio that my outside storage deck box has rusted hardware. The best that Lifetime could do is send replacement hardware for their own hardware that was apparently not fit for outdoor conditions. The fun awaits as I get to disassemble the box only to put on hardware that may or may not be sustainable over time. Come on Lifetime...live up to your name and invest better in your customers and your parts. Your name (brand) definitely doesn't speak to your products.

Product durability
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this product about two years ago. Holding up pretty well except for the gas springs. The pieces that connect the gas springs to the box and lid are made from plastic. Over time the force of the kid opening causes the gas spring to strip the threads in the connects causing them to fall out. The lid becomes non-operative. The two connectors at each end of the gas springs need to be made with metal.

Lasts Forever!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had our Outdoor Storage Deck Box for nearly two years now. It's used to store cushions for our outdoor furniture. Our cushions continue to look brand new when stored in the deck box. The positive locking top keeps items dry in the winter and the two wall construction keeps the inside temperature constant during the hot summers. The exterior finish of the box keeps it looking brand new as well. Will be buying another to keep pool toys,towels, and accessories safe during the off season. Would not hesitate to recommend this Deck Box!

There was a missing part in the package and contacted phone support and part was ordered. Having the product ID on the manual helps speed up the process. Found the part a day later and contacted Lifetime again via phone and cancelled the order.

I have never had a problem, but the gas springs finally broke. Customer Service is replacing them under the 10 year warranty. Great product support. I bought 2 more Lifetime Deck Boxes last year because I was so satisfied with the first one.

Solid product, company stands by quality
This box is extremely sturdy and well made. After 2 years of South FL humidity, the pistons rusted. I contacted the company with photo evidence and they sent replacement parts very quickly. Overall, very pleased with the deck box and Lifetime customer service!

Excellent Product Support
Had a problem with one of the gas springs and was very pleased with the response from Hunter at Lifetime. Sent me a replacement at no cost and it was an easy exchange. So pleased the product has a good warranty, so bought a second box.
