Light and Color People Set

Their bright and beautiful colors make them versatile, easily able to become a part of any construction or story created by the children. They have the perfect translucency for being integrated into light play, from light tables and panels, to flashlights and tea lights, to natural sunlight, the light source shines clearly through the blocks and adds an extra dimension of beauty and wonder to play. The blocks are sturdy, easy to clean, and just the right size for small hands. They are very durable and withstood an entire school year of 150+ students playing with them per day without a scratch. They are the perfect investment for years of open-ended play.

LOVE LOVE LOVE these for our Reggio-inspired playschool. I love the open-ended nature of them and they are stunning on the light table. The children are drawn to them and I definitely need a few more sets! These will be played with for many, many years to come!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves to play with these. The durability is great. They’re very versatile. Big enough so kids can’t swallow it like their smaller toys. Packaging is perfect and very organized. Very nice for educational purposes. I recommend these to anyone who has kids that love colors.

I understand that it is a sensory toy made for light tables, but $10/piece retail seems quite steep. There are 8 pieces total, 2 in each color. I wish it came with a storage bag or something. The pieces are a good size - easy to hold and not too small that you have to worry about younger children choking on them.

They look like nice glass sculptures but are still safe for my kids! They can fit in little play cars and trucks, but the kids also have been using them for a variety of stories and games.
