As close to homemade
This is the best sofrito aside from what my in laws make at home. Way better than goya in terms of taste and ingredients. I have a metabolic sensitivity to powdered MSG so I appreciate that Loisa brand doesn’t use it. I’m impressed actual culantro is used instead of cilantro. Culantro is hard to source in California when making it at home. I can’t wait to try their recaito too! Shout out to whoever packed my order because everything was wrapped extra well and tightly fitted like tetris blocks to minimize shipping damage!

Goya Sofrito/Recaito WHO?
It's close to being homemade and blows other brands out of the water. I could never replicate my Puerto Rician MIL's rice but this sofrito is close to home and my husband approves! This base seasoning adds so much flavor to dishes. It's versatile and can be used to season rice, veggies, and protein. I'll be using it for tonight's stew. I'm salivating already. Don't sleep on this item.
