Even in the can before I started cooking them. The beans were falling apart so when I made the chili, it was just bean paste wasn’t happy. They just disintegrated away.

Couldn't get the lids fully open and it was a hassle to get them completely off resulting in one can going flying and losing most of its contents (unusable). I tried to open the 3/4 still sealed with a can opener but that only partially worked and eventually used a knife to pry the cans open. Don't rely on the pop-top if you're traveling or won't have access to anything to help you open it in case it fails.

There’s a lot of liquid in this. Whole Foods sells one same size and for only 20 cents more. It has more beans and less liquid in it. Also the beans are all brown. They don’t have individual color as shown since they are packed in a lot of liquid.
