Hard beans
I have to agree with other reviewers. These beans were hard, seemed uncooked, and ruined the white bean chili I made. Ot sure of cooking longer would have helped soften them, but that’s not useful for canned beans…otherwise I would have purchased dry beans. Looking through reviews, this looks like a bad batch. Super disappointed though. Usually I can depend on this brand to be good quality.

These beans suck
These beans suck to put it bluntly. They are so hard, not what you would expect from a “prepared bean”.

inedible!
Seemed to be hard and undercooked, so I cooked them over an hour and they never softened up. I was making a double batch of white chili, had to throw the whole thing out. $30 of ingredients!

Super disappointed! Made a recipe with these beans and they are SO hard & crunchy yet. Not sure if it was only a bad batch but I ended up tossing the meal because they were so crunchy.

Can does not say BPA-free
They taste great, but absolutely nowhere on the can does it say they are BPA-free... so make your own decision on that.

Crunchy beans
Like some of the other recent reviews, my beans were undercooked/crunchy. Not a fun experience picking them all out of the chili I made. :( sounds like there is a really bad batch out there and Target needs to address this and get them off the shelves!

Not cooked?
I’m sure I’ve purchased these before and they were fine, but this time the beans were tough and undercooked. I didn’t discover this until after I added them to my soup. Very disappointing.

Dont buy these
I’ve bought these in the past and they were fine. The can I opened today were very undercooked cooked and they were tasteless. Unfortunately I’d already added them to my soup base so I spent 15 minutes picking them out. That will be the last time i use canned beans without tasting them first.

Hard and grainy
Very hard beans. Cooked in a soup, and they were still hard and a grainy texture. Do not recommend until they figure out the issue.

Rocks
I bought Thease beans for a chili in the Crock-Pot. I usually Adore Good and Gather products but I must say, after cooking my chili on high over 4 hours they were horrifically hard. Will not purchase again.

Hard uncooked beans
Something is wrong with these beans. I used to get them all the time. Now they are hard and uncooked. I added them to soup and simmered for an hour and still inedible.

Undercooked beans/ saftey concern!
I grabbed these at my local target for a white chili, my can was super undercooked and firm. You can get really sick from eating undercooked beans. Hoping we don’t !
