Pop-top opener is too difficult to open.
Too difficult to open can with the ring on the top; cans requiring a can opener are much easier. I had to use a screwdriver to pry off the top, and then it spilled. This is not aluminum like a soda can and is much more difficult to lift the lid.

They're okay. I buy both varieties (the light and dark kidney beans by this brand). Sometimes, like this most recent batch, they are VERY mushy (to the point they are falling apart before you even cook them). I always drain and rinse mine before I used them, and this most recent batch, I was convinced was out of date and/or spoiled based on the quality. I smelled them and checked the date; all was well, but I had to dispose about half before adding to the product (as they were so disintegrated). So, hit or miss.

Definitely got dark red kidney beans, but they seemed to have combined two batches or something because about half are cooked and half are hard/raw. Super weird and I'll never buy these again. Also had a random chickpea in the can, no idea why. For reference, uncooked kidney beans are toxic, so this was a concerning to me.

Not Dark Red Kidney Beans...
These beans may be organic, but they are not dark red kidney beans. I've had cans that look like pinto beans and others that are a very light faded red. You might get lucky and find a stray darj red bean. The non-organic Good and Gather dark red kidney beans are consistently dark red and full of flavor.
