A: Hi Mike, You Will Need 1 pkg. McCormick® Seasoning Mix 1 lb. lean ground beef or turkey 1 can (14 ½ oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained or 2 cans (8 oz. each) tomato sauce. 1 can (15 to 16 oz.) kidney or pinto beans, undrained Assorted Toppings: shredded cheese, chopped onions or sour cream Directions 1. BROWN meat in large skillet on medium-high heat. Drain fat. 2. STIR in Seasoning Mix, tomatoes and beans. Bring to boil. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. We've been using this seasoning packet for years and I can instantly taste the different! This is terrible, it almost taste like you guys added cilantro and I hope I'm wrong. Go back to the original.

The taste changed with the new packing. Everyone used to love my chili, I even won a chili cook off at work. I bought the new package, made a double batch as usual for leftovers and grandkids and will probably be throwing almost half away. The first bowl was eaten but not enjoyed and no one wanted seconds or thirds. Please go back to the old seasoning.

Where is the no onion option?

I learned to make chili from my mom as a teenager and we always used McCormicks No Onion Chili seasoning. I just went to buy some at my local grocery and they no longer carry it. I'm so disappointed. I just don't care for the little pieces of onion in the classic mix.

I've used this chili powder for years. It is absolutely fabulous except I hate the bits of dried onions. PLEASE——consider using potion powder instead of the bits of onion!! I am personally not an onion fan and for years when I make chili, I used then on the side for those who enjoy onions.
