What categories are included in the Good & Gather assortment?

The assortment will include Kids, Organic, Seasonal and Signature product lines, all under the flagship Good & Gather brand, from dairy to produce, ready-made pastas and meats to granola bars and sparkling water.

What are the ingredient standards for Good & Gather?

Good & Gather products do not contain artificial flavors, synthetic colors, artificial sweeteners, and high-fructose corn syrup. We based these ingredient standards on industry trends and research with guests who consistently told us that they were looking for products without these ingredients. Some Good & Gather products were specially formulated to meet these standards, while others never contained these ingredients. Products also may meet additional standards, too – like organic, non-GMO, kosher, or gluten free.

What flavors are allowed in Good & Gather products?

When flavors are added to Good & Gather products, only natural flavors as defined by the FDA are used. Natural flavors may come from spices, fruit or fruit juice, vegetable or vegetable juice, plant materials (such as bark, buds, roots, or leaves), edible yeast, meat, seafood, poultry, eggs or dairy, or fermentation products. They are added to foods specifically to provide flavor and not for nutritional value.

What sweeteners are not allowed in Good & Gather products?

Good & Gather products do not contain high-intensity sweeteners commonly referred to “artificial sweeteners” or “low-/no calorie sweeteners,” such as aspartame, acesulfame potassium, saccharin, and sucralose. Good & Gather products also do not contain high-fructose corn syrup.

What colors are allowed in Good & Gather products?

Good & Gather products do not contain synthetic colors. This means that we do not allow the use of any FDA certified synthetic color additives, such as FD&C Red No. 40, FD&C Yellow No.5, or Orange B, in any of our products. Some examples of coloring ingredients in Good & Gather products include: annatto, turmeric, fruit and vegetable extracts, and juices from fruits and vegetables.

Will Good & Gather be replacing any brands currently offered at Target?

Yes, over time Good & Gather will phase out Simply Balanced and Archer Farms. Most of the Simply Balanced and Archer Farms products will still be available under the Good & Gather name. Many of these products will be even better, having undergone rigorous testing to ensure that they taste great. By the end of 2020, Good & Gather will include over 2,000 products.

When and where will Good & Gather be available?

The first Good & Gather products will be available at all Target stores and online for Same Day Delivery beginning September 15, 2019. More products will become available over the course of 2019 and 2020.

What is Target’s money-back guarantee? How does it work?
