Ingredients
1 C white rice, washed
4 C water
1 piece cooked salmon
½ C edamame in pods
2 large eggs
½ C cherry tomatoes, halved
2 lettuce leaves
8 slices cucumber
Instructions
1. Pour the rice and water into the base of the So Yummy by Bella Rice Cooker with Steamer Basket.
2. Place the cooked salmon, edamame, and eggs (in shell) in the top steamer basket. Cover the rice cooker with the lid and press the cook button. Prepare an ice bath.
3. Cook for 7 minutes. Carefully remove the hot eggs from the steamer basket and transfer it to the ice bath for 3 minutes, leaving the rest of the food to continue cooking. The egg will have a jammy center when done.
4. When the rice is done, the salmon and edamame will be warmed through and ready. The rice cooker will automatically switch to warm mode.
5. Remove the steamer basket and use the rice paddle to fluff up the rice.
6. Scoop the rice into bowls. Top with the steamed salmon, edamame, the jammy eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, and lettuce. Enjoy!

As many have noted, TONS of bugs with the latest batch. Yes, I wash my rice, however, 7-8 live bugs in less than a cup of rice feels excessive. And they were large in size. Had to throw most of the bag out.

I strongly do not recommend this rice, and I am very dissatisfied with Target's return process, which has put me in a bad mood for the past two days. I went to pick up the rice with great expectations, but before I opened the package, I was shocked by the bugs inside. There were a lot of bugs, and they were big, almost as big as rice grains. I didn't dare to open the package. I had planned to start using this bag of rice right away, but it is obviously impossible now. I asked Target's customer service to send me another bag of rice without bugs, and they said I had to carry the rice to the store myself first. I don't have a car, and the nearest store is far away from me. The reason I bought it online is because it is too inconvenient to go offline. Now I have to take it myself, so what is the point of my online shopping???

I have never had any problems with the quality of this rice. No bugs, ever. I try different types of rice for the variety, but I always come back to this. I put it in my Japanese rice cooker and the rice comes out perfect everytime.

I found small, hard, oval black things in the rice. I have no idea if it was bugs or rodent excrement but I had to throw out most of it and I'm horrified I didn't notice it until halfway through the bag. Disgusting. I've never had this issue with any rice. Switching back to the jasmine.

I’ve been buying this rice for years with no issue. However recently this new bag I bought is not what it used to be. It’s dry but the rice sticks together, the texture is weird! Feels like rice that had gone old or something.

Grabbed two more bags of this rice because I’ve used it before without issue. These two bags I’m not sure what’s changed but like other reviewers stated no matter how much the rice was rinsed it was so sticky and mushy almost a gel/glue way too much starch texture. I went for this one based on price but I’ll gladly pay more next time for something else.
