This jasmine rice comes in a two-pound bag that's easy to keep stored for when you need it. Use it as part of your main dishes by topping with tikka masala sauce and chicken or green coconut curry and shrimp, or top with diced pineapple and red bell peppers and serve as an accompaniment to grilled fish. You can even drizzle with a little melted butter and mix in your favorite veggies and protein for a simple workday lunch. Directions
1 cup dry rice = about 3 cups cooked
Stovetop
1. Bring water or broth to boil in saucepan. Add butter and salt to taste, if desired.
2. Stir in rice; cover.
3. Reduce heat; simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until all liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
4. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving.
4 Servings - 1 1/2 cups of water or broth - 1 cup of rice
8 Servings - 3 cups of water or broth - 2 cup2 of rice
Electric Pressure Cooker
1. Combine 2 cups rice and 2 1/4 cups water (or broth) in 6-qt. electric pressure cooker. Season with salt, if desired. Cover and lock lid closed, making sure steam valve is in seal position.
2. Set to pressure cook on HIGH for 5 minutes.
3. Allow pressure to release naturally for 20 minutes, then carefully turn steam valve to vent position to release remaining pressure. Remove lid and fluff.
Refrigerate or discard leftovers immediately.

This rice was unopened but when I went to cook it for the first time there were insects in it. I had to throw it away. It was such a waste of money. I googled the rice brand and it has a recall on it. Target should not still be selling this rice!!

Do not buy this! I bought 2 bags only to come home and discover there were bugs in the bags of rice. They hadn’t been opened and were completely sealed. Customer service was terrible. They said if I emailed in pictures of the rice I would be refunded. Emailed pictures and received a canned response that they will “document” the issue. No refund, no compensation for the time it’s going to take me to drive back to store to buy more nothing. So unless you want living bugs in your food by your rice somewhere else.

Obviously you have to clean rice and stuff, but there was some odd looking debris in the rice that I threw it away. Also - the texture is way off from what you expect from jasmine rice. Going back to my local Asian store and getting my rice.

This is the worse jasmine rice ever purchased. I’m not sure if this is even real jasmine rice. No matter how long you cook it the rice is ALWAYS HARD it doesn’t even have the Jasmine fragrance I’ll never buy this again and want a refund

Like other reviews have stated, this rice doesn’t cook well. I cook on three different occasions and each time it’s overcooked and undercooked at the same time. Takes forever to cook but never cooks thoroughly. I cook jasmine rice the same way every time and never had a problem with other brands.

This rice had dropping in side of a sealed bag! I went to wash the rice and there were mouse droppings inside it. This was a freshly bought bag of rice! What makes matters worse is this was my second time buying it. I am so disgusted with this brand absolutely disgusting!

This is my second time repurchasing this bag of rice. It’s literally one of the worst quality rices I’ve ever had in my life. Seriously just get something else. It takes forever to cook. Then, once you think it’s cooked, half of it is like plastic and the other half is like mash potato’s. I’m very disappointed with this rice, never gonna buy it again. It literally ruins your meal.
