Q: I am confused, when I went to buy this product at HEB the label says it "Contains a bioengineered product" but your label here does not indicate it. Why two different labels?

A: Hi Lee, thanks for the question. Our Seasoning mix is not labeled gluten free. Only products that can be verified to be gluten free will be declared as gluten free on the label. For products not labeled gluten free, we will always declare gluten containing ingredients if they are added to the product. If there are no gluten-containing ingredients listed in the product ingredient label, but the product does not make a gluten free claim, it is because we cannot fully assure that this product is gluten free. We have used this taco seasoning for as long as I can remember. Always the best……..you’ve done something……it’s changed so much!!!! Not nearly as good as it used to be. Not sure why companies do that……looking for different brand now!! Really disappointing!!

My kids love taco night and I love making tacos for them as well. The old El paso seasoning is super easy and works well with ground beef or turkey. Add in the nacho cheese shells and other fixins and it makes for an easy dinner!

The seasoning tastes great and is easy to store since the packet doesn’t take up much space. I like that the recipe is on the back of the packet. I have used the recipe to practice measurements and follow instructions with my kids. We had a lot of fun. It’s quick and makes delicious taco’s!

my family has been eating this exact seasoning my entire life and i’ve NEVER had issues with it. as of recently, every single time i eat this i get very sick. stomach cramps and the whole nine. i double checked and its not expired or anything. i actually found my way here looking to see if anything changed and ive seen these comments as of the past couple months saying something changed as well. i hope its a me thing and no one else is getting sick too…
