Surprisingly GOOD!
I had cooked some homemade Cincinnati Chili and I accidently put far too much pepper in it. I looked for ideas to bring down the heat and one of the suggestions was to add beans to it. I usually cook from scratch to avoid sodium in our diet. At the last minute, I went to Target only to buy these beans because I had spent so much time on my inedible hot chili. They were delicious and probably even more low sodium after I rinsed before using. Best Target run that I've made in a long time!

No beans
The tab snapped off, it was a struggle to open because the top was more inset then a can without a pull tab. I drained the liquid with only cracks on the side, not enough for a bean to escape. After draining and finally opened it, I looked inside to this. Hardly any. Something is off with quality control.

Low Quantity
There were very little beans in each can. Very disappointing.

Beans beans...
Good taste, fair price, organic and low salt; a winning combination. We always thoroughly rinse beans anyway.

Beans were split
Almost every bean in the can was severly split. When my chili was done cooking the beans were nearly invisible because they disintergrated. I also purchased a can of the dark red beans and most of those beans were also split. I will not purchase again.
