I love it! It’s perfectly clear and pretty loud! My only complaint is that the stories don’t automatically play you have to manually play them yourselves rather then letting it play automatically. Very sad about that feature

I need to say that we have only owned this for a few hours; and we love it! This Luna projector is a replacement for our fisher price projector. This is by far the better one. The picture is alot better, sound too. five stories and five songs on each figure. No operational sound like the fisher. Our son loves it and we love it for him.

Awesome toy!
Great for winding down and not nearly as stimulating as a screen. My son loves to lay on his bed and project the stories and songs onto his ceiling. Such a cute toy and I love that you can add to it with new characters for holidays and birthdays. Image is very clear!!

We love love love our Luna projector!! I knew I wanted to get my 2-year-old a storytime projector for Christmas and did a lot of research about the different options before ultimately picking the Luna. It’s a bit more expensive than the super popular FP projector, but I think it’s totally worth the extra cost because my kids are able to use it by themselves (apparently the FP version is tough to use), the picture is nice and clear, the buttons are very intuitive, and I love that each character has several stories and songs. And each story is a nice length!! Long enough that they feel worth the price, but not too long that they lose my kids’ attention. We’ve only had it for a week and it’s become our new favorite part of our bedtime routine. My 5-year-old absolutely loves it too. And I’ve already ordered more characters because we love it so much. I can’t say enough good things about this item!!

New bedtime routine addition!
Love this projector. Got two so each of my kids could have one. Easy to use (3 and 4 year old approved) and I love that it has different color light up options. Also comes in some of my kids favorite characters. Picture is super clear too which is why I went with Luna instead of little tykes projector.

I originally bought the little tikes dream machine for my kids for Christmas but I returned and purchased this one. The picture quality is better and not blurry. Plus my main selling point was you can charge this via USB cord and batteries. Where’s the little tikes use only batteries. In addition my toddler can easily change the characters like she does on her Tonie Box. Little tikes does have more characters but Luna gives you five stories on each character and most likely will come out with new ones.

Adorable storybook projector
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little Luna story reader is super cute! It’s really easy to use and so fun for the kids. I plugged in with the cord but it also uses batteries so it’s portable. You can listen with the video or just with sound. It projects storybooks on the wall while the reader reads the story. It’s different than others on the market since it has the projector. This is perfect for my 5 year old. My 2 year old still wants to grab the figure off the top which is why it’s best for 3 and up.

A Gentle Way to Wind Down Together
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have really enjoyed the Luna Storytime Projector. It doesn’t resolve all bedtime struggles but it does make winding down something my kid actually looks forward to. The images are bright and clear. They really move, it’s not like a slide projector with just still images. The narration is gentle and keeps a pretty calm pace. The figurines have to be placed just so to work. There is a small guide notch but it could be challenging for younger users. Another thing that could potentially make it tricky for littles is there is a variety of settings — video or just sound or just nightlight. I can see the potential for some kids to get frustrated if they are working this on their own…..but I’ve also seen kids adapt to technology way faster than adults, so many it’s not a problem. We are still using this along with our kiddos but maybe they’ll be ready for independent play with it. The base allows you to adjust the angle of your projection but I hope it doesn’t get misplaced.

It's a fun and different way to go about story time and I like that it comes with at least one character to start out with. It comes with like 12 different books/songs like twinkle twinkle, the itsy bits spider, etc. My 4.5 year old and 6 year old loved that it could project the story and song onto the wall. I had it at the lowest volume and it was still pretty loud but this is definitely something we will be using. Can be used with batteries or plugged into a USB outlet.

The owl comes with some cute stories and the pictures that are projected are pretty clear and cute. I wish there were more options as far as figurines go but I guess that will come with time. You can either hook this up with a charger or use batteries. The batteries probably wouldn’t last long given how much power this uses so the charger is the way to go. Overall, a neat little toy.

She is 3, has not had much screen time, and I thought she was going to struggle with operating it - but she figured it out well enough in just a few minutes. The stories and songs with the standard owl it comes with are actually pretty good, even though they are not really the standard story, like ‘4 little pigs’ instead of 3. For a kids toy the picture quality is perfectly useable and it’s super simple to display on the wall or even the ceiling. This was an unexpected hit in our house. ..

This is absolutely perfect for my two toddlers to help them wind down in the evening. My boys love it when I read to them, but this is a nice alternative when I am unable to give them my full attention. The stories are fairly short, which is nice because we were able to do one or two before bed. I am excited to try out some of the other cartridges.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This storyline projector is really such a cool little toy! It projects an image on the wall that is super vivid and clear and colorful. It has five stories and five songs to choose from. The itsy bitsy spider is my sons favorite one to read along with. I love how the stories also have words so my kindergartener can read along with the pictures and songs. It also has a nightlight with music and auto shutoff. I can’t wait to get more characters with different stories too!

This is a great addition to a kids room for them to fall asleep to or to be entertained with independently without screens. We projected this on to the side of a canvas bin in my daughter’s room because of the set up of her room but it would be projected on to a wall too. The stories are really cute and my daughter already has wants more of the little figurines. The songs are cute too and good for bed time listening. The nightlight is also a great addition.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are no newbies to screen free play. My toddlers have quite the collection of storytime toys. This one surprised me in that it is so easy to use. I literally put batteries and let my almost 4 year old play with it on her own with no direction since I was busy and when I checked on her she had turned it on and was listening to the music all on her own. It is very toddler friendly! The nightlight feature is a great feature and love that it has different color options. Also love the handle so my toddler can carry it easily from room to room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love love love this product and my kids love it too! This pack came with the player, a stand, a charging cord, and an owl character! Essentially you place the character on the player and it tells stories. There are many different characters available for purchase. As you can see I also bought the Bible stories character! If you want to just listen to the stories and songs that is an option but if you want them projected you just flip the button to project. It is very easy to use for a young child who wants to flip through the stories. The only thing I am worried about is the connection on the bottom of the characters. If that piece gets broken you can’t attach it to the player. I think this would have to be used with adult supervision to ensure that it doesn’t get broken. Overall love the product!

It is a multifunctional educational toy - it projects and reads stories out loud, it plays music, and offers different color nightlight options as well. it comes with one story figure that contains over 30 minutes of story time, including five stories and five songs. The lens is adjustable so the picture was super clear. You can plug it in, or use batteries so your kiddo can carry it from room to room. Overall a super cute and fun educational toy! Can’t wait to try more story figures.

It’s a great alternative to typical screen time. However, it feels slightly cheaply made. It’s very light and I worry that using this with young kids could be difficult for longevity. The characters are also made from lightweight plastic that I worry could easily get damaged. Im excited to have another option for some engaging story time but not sure how long it will last.
