Q: What version of the Grinch is on this Tonie? I can't tell from the reviews, the original cartoon with Boris Karloff narrating, or one of the newer movies?

I thought people may have been being dramatic but no, the songs are really bad. The first grinch story is good but it’s not very long. I don’t like the narrator and the Cindy & Max songs are just wrong lol I am visibly cringing the whole time

This might be the worst Tonie we’ve purchased. It’s shocking that they can advertise this as The Grinch when the songs are this trash. I wish I could return it. I’d sell it, but I don’t want karma to come back on me.

PLEASE tonies stop making up your own songs/stories. My son LOVES The Grinch. The story and song on this is great. The made up songs of Cindy and Max… like nails on a chalk board. A note to you Tonies: stop making up your own things. It either needed to end at the end of the grinch story or add some (non tonies made up) Christmas songs at the end. People want the originals. Not add ons.

Original Dr Seuss Grinch story is fine. Everything else is SO Bad. The Cindy Lou Who and Max songs—-I can’t believe those made it out of production. Very short run time.

Just awful. Everyone singing just sounds tone deaf. The two added songs “I am Cindy Lou who” and Max the Dog were horrible and honestly painful to listen to. Regret this purchase and extremely disappointed.
