Q: There is a sticker inside that says it should not be used as a toy chest. Why is that?

A: This storage bench is airtight and could pose suffocation issues for children. If it's used as a toy chest then children would be more inclined to climb into it.

This is a beautiful storage bench. The typical quality you expect from Target. It has a rope handle on the front, and the material is very soft. The inside is a black felt like material but not incredibly thin. It’s easy to open and move around, isn’t super heavy. Thinking to get another for my kids room as it won’t smash little hands without force.

The storage bench concept isn’t exactly brand new, but the quality of this bench is something to talk about! It’s surprisingly lightweight-yet-sturdy while it’s empty; even with some back issues I was able to pick this up no problem. As a 225lb guy, I was able to sit on top of the lid and the piece totally felt like it was supporting me! It’s pretty spacious on the inside, and I like that the front has a handle to mitigate the risk of getting greasy hands all over the fabric. There aren’t really any drawbacks, but there are two things I wish it had: handles on the sides to move the bench easily, and I wish the top opened up all the way. Overall, this is a stylish, quality piece and I’m really happy with it!

This is the perfect bench to go under my window where I like to bird watch and read. It exceeds my expectations when it comes to comfort as the top is cushioned thickly and has a thick pad that compresses to you when you sit on it. This bench has "feet" on the bottom that raise it about half an inch off the ground to help keep it level when sitting on it. The pattern is pretty and the fabric is stain-resistant and easy to clean! I love the gentle glide hinge closures that ensure I never pinch my hand when opening and closing the storage lid. I love to store my favorite blankets and books in there for easy convenience to sit down and read.

This storage bench is awesome! It s a great size that fits a ton of stuff. My son always had all his toys open open boxes and it would drive me crazy the way it looks. Now all his toys are in this bench, hidden from view. Makes me very happy. Plus is doubles as a really nice seat by the window.

I was looking for a storage bench to store my comforters and this exceeds my expectation and came in perfect time. It’s beautiful, sturdy and looks exactly like the pictures. The bench is made with high-quality materials. The bottom of the bench has four raised glides that lift the bench about an inch off of the floor. The bench is upholstered all around, and padded on top for comfortable seating. I really like the soft close hinge so it is not slamming shut. I just love it and I highly recommend it to everyone.

This Bench is way sturdier than I expected it to be! It’s big enough that we will use it as a coffee table, and will be able to store things inside (I plan to put blankets and pillows in mine). There is a very nice hinge inside the lid that holds it open and closes smoothly. Great!

This has been perfect for my sons small hotwheel tracks, as much as there super fun to be out everywhere it's nice at the end of the day to be out of the way and it look neat and put together. It's sturdy and even more perfect that we got it on sale. I liked the blue stripe over the cream plaid and cream stripe as I would say it is less likely to show marks. It was assembled and we used it right away.

I’ve been eyeing this ottoman for a while. The price seemed a little much. But, I got a great deal : it was on sale, another 15% off bc it was a dorm room essential? And then another $10 off my purchase of $90 or more through Circle. I would wait til you get a deal like that bc it’s not worth the list price in my opinion. It is VERY nice though. Hope it holds up against my claw obsessed kitties.
