The shapes are made of durable material which I think will scratch over time which is an okay trade off for appearance. I do not have safety concerns regarding the different designs but I would expect to be supervising my child using this.

We build castles, mazes, communities, and so much more. It’s so amazing to see kids use their imagination. I recommend these 10/10! Every family and classroom should have these!
