A: Hello Nolamom78 - Thank you for your interest! The manual air pump is not designed to assist in adding helium to balloons. This pump can inflate cellophane balloons. You’ll need to purchase a helium tank to fill the balloons with helium. I hope this helps. - Zara

Literally the most annoying manual pump. You have to hold the balloon mouth tightly over the air spout and extend the balloon mouth a little over the pump mouth to get air. It took 4 minutes to fill 1 balloon with tons of manual manipulation…

Leaks half of the air you pumped in
I have several other balloon pumps in different sizes, and this one is the worst and the most expensive. It simultaneously leaks air as you pump, and you have to use a lot of force. The other three I got came free with the balloons I purchased. I would not recommend this pump.

Easy to use and did its job! So many other ones suck but I figured I would grab this one for some mylar foil balloons (I had 5 total) and this filled them up in no time. I didn’t need a straw or anything. It did work fine for latex balloons as well, but I found it faster to use my mouth. But for foil balloons, it worked great!
