Easily broken into. Dont buy. Buy a U lock
My bike got stolen in spite of having this lock on. The plastic encased cable held up to 3 cuts. However the combination lock broke internally when the thief forced it. It has a cast iron member which is about 1/8 of an inch wide. It just broke when forced. The lock functioned fine till the bike was stolen. I did not have problems with setting and changing the number and unlocking the bike. Ufortunately this lock is so easy to break it is useless. Get a proper U lock.

Got stuck first time using it and wouldn't unlock
Was able to change the default combination to my own and tested it before using it with my bike but when I actually went to use it to lock my bike it wouldn't open, never got to use it. This company has been around for many years...this shouldn't be happening.

Jammed and didn't even get to use!
Bought this new lock, set up the combination, did a few unlock and lock tests with the kid then the next day it was JAMMED! Can’t get it open, luckily the young nephew didn’t take off to school with it before we tested it once more.

DO NOT BUY
You will regret buying this. The coil is way, way too tight. It's extremely hard to use. This product was either poorly designed or poorly engineerd, or both. It's supposed to be 6' long but it feels about 2' long, that's how little you have to work with. It's like trying to lock your bike with a spring.

Doesn't work
Bought this for my kids, set the new code, and it the lock could never fully insert again. I have tried resetting and alternating numbers around the code to see if there was a mistake, but still nothing. This did not work.

Ignore bad reviews regarding jamming
I’m not sure why people are saying the lock is jamming and having issues, if you’re reading the instructions you will have zero issues with this product. Also, on Amazon this exact some product has 4.5 stars by over 5000 different ratings. You may buy with confidence, I love my bike lock works perfectly.

The Lock that Never Opens
First time setting the combo and it never opened again. Opened first time setting to all 0s but after combo was set it did not unlock. Great job!

PIECE OF CRAP - ALL CAPS INTENDED
WOULD GIVE THIS ZERO STARS IF I COULD. I LITERALLY HAD TO GET THIS CUT OFF BY A LOCKSMITH THE SAME DAY I BOUGHT IT. THE LOCKING MECHANISM GOT STUCK AFTER THE COMBINATION WAS RESET. NO AMOUNT OF ELBOW GREASE WOULD GET THIS TO UNLATCH.
