Master Lock 5/16 in. W X 6 ft. L Vinyl Covered Steel 4-Dial Combination Locking Cable

I have had this lock just over a month. I bought two and set the combination the same on both. They were working just fine. Now, one will kit unlock, which means my bike is locked to something. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Didn’t do the job! Someone was able to cut this off and stole my bike from our apartments bike storage.

The cable is nice and heavy, and the lock is well made and will last a long time. Can be used as a bike lock and right now I'm using it lock my back gate s nobody enters. The cord is thick, you can set your own combination, the length is good, overall highly recommend

I use it to lock my bike at the Y and it is perfect for that use. I would not use it to lock my bike in a high crime area.

It's very sturdy, and the cable seems quite thick to stop any non serious attempts to cut it or break it. It was very easy to set the combination, just pull the lock part apart, twist, set the combo, and twist back, and you're set. The cable is long enough I can actually get it through both tires and through the frame as well. Overall I think this is a quality product and would recommend it to anyone needing a cable lock.

I'm afraid that it could snap at anytime. Although, it has held up so far. Easy to use: Just wrap around the bike and the item your are attaching it to, and push the lock shut.

The braided steel cable is supposed to be resistant to cutting and sawing, although I can't say I personally tested this. I am not an expert at picking locks, either, so I don't know if it would be easy to open. It was, however, easy to open and set up. If you are like me, you better save that combination number in your phone so you don't forget it. You can also store it at the product's website, but I don't think that is necessary. This is 6 feet long, which I think is a very good size. I have not used the product many times, but so far I haven't had any issues. I would recommend it!

This one is very easy to use and understand. He was constantly loosing the key to his old locks so I’m glad this one has a combination that we can easily set to our own numbers and he doesn’t have to worry about a key anymore.

Nobody can take it now unless I give them permission. The combination code lock makes it easy for my son and husband to unlock it to take to the tailgate parties. The cable is easily removed and taken with them so they don't have to worry about the grill being stolen at tailgate parties. It attaches to the hitch easily when not being used with this nice long cable. This cable is built to last. Has a nice heavy coating on it to protect wires. It's weather and rust proof. Very nice!
