The classic shell shape, designed by leading action sports brand Triple Eight, is both sturdy and stylish, lending comfort and ventilation for hours of biking, skateboarding, rollerblading, roller skating, and scooter fun. Featuring an ABS outer shell for durability and protection, and an EPS liner with inner foam pads that mold to the head for a comfortable fit, the helmet is dual certified for bike and skate use. Complies with U.S. CPSC Safety Standards for Bicycle Helmets for Persons age 5 and older and ASTM safety standards for biking, skateboarding, and trick roller skating. Q: My 11 year olds head is 52 cm. If I get the 5+ I’m afraid it will be tight but the 8+ will be too big. Is it adjustable, like the internal padding?

A: Hi there! If your child’s head measures 52 cm, we recommend the 8+ helmet, which fits head circumferences of 52–56 cm (20.5–22 in). This helmet fits our daughter well, but like another reviewer mentioned, it somehow got very sticky. We store ours inside and she’s never put stickers on it so I’m not sure what causes this? Maybe the outer coating wears off? Either way, we’re in the market for a new helmet even though this one fits comfortably bc her hair sticks to it and it’s very annoying for her.

My son had his helmet (in silver) for a long time and it finally started breaking down after a lot of use. He loved this one so much I purchased the same one again. No way to fit these properly
My kids liked the look of these helmets but they have no internal size adjustment (unlike others from this company that looked identical but are adjustable.) We bought two, both for kids with heads measuring in the listed range, and the helmets didn’t fit either kid. Spend a little more and find a helmet that fits well enough to keep those brains safe.
