The Eight Ball Dual Certified Kids’ Bike, Skate, and Scooter Helmet offers unparalleled protection for boys and girls ages eight and up. The classic shell shape, designed by leading action sports brand Triple Eight, is both sturdy and stylish, lending comfort and ventilation for hours of biking, skateboarding, rollerblading, roller skating, and scooter fun. Featuring an ABS outer shell for durability and protection, and an EPS liner with inner foam pads that mold to the head for a comfortable fit, the helmet is dual certified for bike and skate use, complying with U.S. CPSC and ASTM safety standards for biking, skateboarding, and trick roller skating. The Eight Ball Dual Certified Kids’ Bike, Skate, and Scooter Helmet fits ages eight and up, head size of 52-56cm (20.5-22in). An adjustable chin strap with side release buckle ensures a secure fit. For most accurate measurement, use a string to measure the circumference of the head.

Q: My 11 year olds head is 52 cm. If I get the 5+ I’m afraid it will be tight but the 8+ will be too big. Is it adjustable, like the internal padding?

A: Hi there! If your child’s head measures 52 cm, we recommend the 8+ helmet, which fits head circumferences of 52–56 cm (20.5–22 in). Please note that the pre-installed liners mold to the head over time, but they are not adjustable and should not be removed from the helmet. Thanks so much for your question!

A: Hi there! This helmet generally fits ages 8–14. However, for the most accurate fit, we recommend measuring the head circumference starting at the middle of the forehead. If the measurement falls between 52–56 cm (20.5–22 in), this helmet will be a great match.

My son had his helmet (in silver) for a long time and it finally started breaking down after a lot of use. He loved this one so much I purchased the same one again. No way to fit these properly
My kids liked the look of these helmets but they have no internal size adjustment (unlike others from this company that looked identical but are adjustable.) We bought two, both for kids with heads measuring in the listed range, and the helmets didn’t fit either kid. Spend a little more and find a helmet that fits well enough to keep those brains safe.

Not true to size, it doesn’t not fit up to 22in head. My 9 yo daughter is smaller than 22in head circumference and it is tight enough to squeeze her head and give her a headache. Order size up.
