Nothing more important than protecting your child from a brain injury while riding their bike. With a new bike, she got a brand new "sassy" helmet! The construction is sturdy and secure. The fit is perfect for an 8 year old, the adjustable straps truly help. She loves the look and I love the protection it provides!

Had it for over 2 years—bought it for my then-4 year old who had a big head and sized out of most toddler/child helmets available in stores. It was a good fit for her, and continues to be now. She hasn’t had any big spills thankfully, but this has kept her protected her through skate camps, some scooter falls, and learning to ride a bike. She finds it comfortable to wear and prefers the action sport style helmet to traditional bicycle helmets. The lights still light up, miraculously, though they aren’t as bright as they once were. I don’t see a way to replace them, but I assume it’s a small button battery. Would like to see a more obvious method of replacement, or a more obvious light or reflective element on the helmet itself vs the straps for evening use. My adult helmet has a rear flashing light, and those are difficult to find on youth helmets. Overall this was a great purchase that my kid is happy with and is willing to wear every single ride.

Helmet is great, the fit is great, but batteries died quickly and I don’t see a way to change them. I’ve asked in the questions section, twice and my question got deleted both times, like they don’t want to acknowledge that there’s no way to make it work once the original batteries die.

Helmet is beautiful and lights work BUT they only stay on for 2-3 minutes before "auto-shutting off" feature kicks in. Kinda takes away the point of it lighting up while riding in the dark.

Perfect for 6 year old girl. Fits perfectly. Not to tight. Has straps and comfortable. Would definitely recommend
