MCoBeauty Modern Escape Fragrance Mist - High Desert - 3.04 fl oz

I loove this scent!! It smells like the Rose mist from Bath and Body works that they no longer sell (only as part of a gift set). It’s not overpowering and smells exactly like its name, a rose garden.

i have no complaints except for one thing. the smell is AMAZING. however, the way the container is built allows leaks. the frangrance liquid itself will leak out!!! it gets onto the outside of the cap and the bottle itself, and holding it after it leaks is horrible :( would be 5 stars if the bottle design didnt allow leaks

My go to perfume is Coco by Channel and this body spray smells like a light version of this. Has been great to use on the go during sweaty summer days.

The "South of the Sahara" scent smells VERY similar to Sel Océan by Le Monde Gourmand. They're so similar that I can't justify owning both and thought about returning this (since I already have Sel Ocean), but I actually kind of like it better than Sel Ocean—it's not quite as sweet—so I kept it. I've heard this compared to Bal d'afrique, and while I see the similarities, this doesn't have any of the moodiness or muskiness of Bal d'afrique; this is much more linear, fruitier, and simpler. Because it's so simple and linear, I don't know that I'd ever wear it as a perfume. But as a post-shower, before-bed body spray, it's lovely!

Nice scent on these hot summer days

Has promise. Lovely rose scent; pepper to balance it. I have a love hate relationship with it. It fades fairly quickly. It doesn’t work on my skin chemistry but smells fabulous when sprayed on a tissue. I guess I would love it as a room spray.

Easily one of my favorite scents. I had been looking for a body mist that would not be sweet. I love that it is long lasting & not overpowering.

McoBeauty’s High Desert is a good dupe for Byredo’s Mojave Ghost, and it’s a MUCH more reasonable price point! It’s also surprisingly long lasting for a body mist. Worth it!

Smells great for the price. I pair these both with Billie Ellish #2. Smells so lovely ! Highly recommend.

South of the Sahara smells more like Wood Sage and Sea Salt to me than it does Bal d’Afrique. Was hoping for the latter, but it’s still a good freshie for warm weather. It’s more fleeting than every other body spray on the market though, cannot smell it at all after about five minutes so even though it’s cheap, it’s really not worth it (especially at full price)

South of the Sahara might not be obvious at first, but on the dry down it’s 100% Moroccanoil Brumes du Maroc body spray/perfume. Which is to die for! I’ll be buying this on repeat as I have done with the name brand.

Does not smell rose at all, very strong alcohol smell.

I absolutely love this fragrance mist. It’s almost identical to my expensive perfume Bal D’Afrique from Byredo. Unfortunately it’s not long lasting. Hopefully MCoBeauty will make South of the Sahara eau de parfum one day. I am waiting! 😁

Smells amazing!!

This scent is sophisticated, elegant, and smells expensive. I have never tested the scent this is inspired by-but there is simply no need to spend $$$ on fragrance when beautiful products like this exist.

Smells absolutely DARLING! Rose garden pairs well with OUAI Ibiza and wears well alone. It’s got some good projection so a little goes anLONG WAY. It’s spicy, rosy, woody and sweet all at the same time 10/10 recommend

South of Sahara smells elegant, warm, slightly musty almost old lady type undertones. High desert is more light and crisp, but does dry es not at all have any patchouli scent whatsoever. Both have a bit of rubbing alcohol scent when first spraying, that does go away after drying. Bottles are small for the price, ok on sale though. Overall good quality, not great.
