A: Hello Winston - Great question! These particular containers are not designed for stacking, as there are no cut-out grooves to secure the pieces together. It is not recommend you stacking them without the stacking design because the smooth surface on the top of the container allows for instability and slippage. They are sleek an convenient though, and come in multiple sizes and pieces to coordinate and organize your space in a stylish way, keeping stored items visible for easily finding them! Love all of these clear plastic organization boxes. They’re high quality, good dimensions, and the stickers are easy to peel off! Love that they’re clear so I can see exactly what’s inside. I use these for organizing all kinds of things in our house: under the sink products; craft supplies; office things, etc. I love that I can buy different sizes, from the various target brands, and they all “match” as they’re all clear, and of a similar thickness. I do think that some of the sizes are too expensive- for example, the ~9” x 3” ones- so I get those from Michael’s, which match these just fine.

Holding avocados in my fridge.
I went through trials and tribulations to find the right container for avocados in my fridge and originally I just wanted a small, narrow bin. But, those were all too large and so I chose these little bins, because two of the small/medium avocados fit in one container, and I can stack a whole other container on top (yes, these do stack), and I can just shuffle back and forth between the new avocados and the ones which need to be used first, so these help me organize the avocados a little better. I'm storing my apples in another area, but these would have been good for apples, too, if I needed them. I feel so much more organized now and I just need an oval plastic bowl now for bananas in the fridge. I got three of these for the avocados which is a little overkill, so I may use the third one for something else, who knows. But these are great, sturdy little bins and I recommend them!!!
