Q: Can these trays stack ontop of each other?

A: Hello Winston - Great question! These particular containers are not designed for stacking, as there are no cut-out grooves to secure the pieces together. It is not recommend you stacking them without the stacking design because the smooth surface on the top of the container allows for instability and slippage. They are sleek an convenient though, and come in multiple sizes and pieces to coordinate and organize your space in a stylish way, keeping stored items visible for easily finding them! I went through trials and tribulations to find the right container for avocados in my fridge and originally I just wanted a small, narrow bin. But, those were all too large and so I chose these little bins, because two of the small/medium avocados fit in one container, and I can stack a whole other container on top (yes, these do stack), and I can just shuffle back and forth between the new avocados and the ones which need to be used first, so these help me organize the avocados a little better. I'm storing my apples in another area, but these would have been good for apples, too, if I needed them. I feel so much more organized now and I just need an oval plastic bowl now for bananas in the fridge. I got three of these for the avocados which is a little overkill, so I may use the third one for something else, who knows. But these are great, sturdy little bins and I recommend them!!!
