MegaChef Electric Food Warming Tray with Adjustable Temperature Control: Stainless Steel Buffet Server, 1500W, Silver

Picked this up after my sister brought hers to thanksgiving - it was able to accommodate two sides and kept them the perfect temperature.

I bought two of these for a brunch. This warming tray is great for gatherings. Keeps food warm and easy to use!

I just used by Mega Chef warming tray for the first time. It has a large surface area and it will very helpful to me as I prepare multiple courses and sometimes all dishes are not ready to serve at the same time. I can prepare a meal, place food on the warming tray, clean up the pots and pans, and then serve everything at once. It makes the after-meal cleanup a snap too! I only wish it came with serving dishes with covers that fit perfectly on the tray's surface, to maximize the warm surface area.

I just received this. I bought this MegaChef Electric Food Warming Tray from Target specifically due to the large size surface and the adjustable heat control. Overall it is 24” length, 14” width and can handle multiple Corningware or casserole dishes for serving family or guests. With handles on each end you can securely hold it while moving it to the table or buffet space. This has a minimum to maximum adjustment knob so you will have to play with it to set your preferencial heat level but it is a smooth glide rather than selecting a 1, 2, 3 for which the numbers have no significance. (In other words 1 would not equal 100 degrees anyway). Plastic and melamine is NOT advised for use on this warmer. Containers used should be stove/oven safe but this WARMING Tray is NOT for cooking or for heating from cold to hot. This is NOT a hot plate or burner like a stove top. Cook your food first and then move it to this tray to stay warm to serve. Warming Tray should not be left on more than 6 - 8 hours per included the provided use guidelines. This has a glass surface so it is not crash proof. The heat adjustment knob is in the front and surface, as well as the eserving containers used, can get hot so keep away from children. I have had warmers in the past and this is FAR better. I have not had a chance to use this one yet but if I was to suggest changes they would have been 1) perhaps a metal unbreakable and scratch resistant surface and 2) to add text to the knob for low, low/medium, medium, medium/high, high only so that if you find the perfect setting for yourself, you can more easily return to that setting next time, instead of remembering which hash mark you were on, one the dial. Great for multiple dishes

This is exactly what I've been wanting. It is the perfect size, and sleek, easy to operate!

I remembered my Mom having warming trays on the holidays to help keep hot dishes warm, while everyone enjoyed their meals and went back for seconds and food remained hot. These warming trays ( I bought 2) kept the food hot. We always have more food than we need, but it's nice to know that I can depend on the food remaining hot when needed.

I do not use a microwave by choice. So, this really helps keep my food warm. The low settings don’t just do much but when you keep it on high, it keeps food really warm and has an auto shut off when the desired temperature is reached. It takes a while if you take food from the fridge and keep it on the warmer, but it still warms up the food. I just switch it on and keep the items in there about an hour before the lunch time or dinner time and my food is warm when it’s time. I have kept stainless steel, ceramic and cast iron on this and all of them works well without issues. It’s a must have for everyone who is trying have healthy habits. Also I have used it for a party I have hosted and it pretty much kept the food warm. So works for everyday use as well as for hosting parties. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. It is very easy to clean as well.

Beautiful to look at. Heats up FAST. reheating food is quick and tastes freshly made. It’s great!!

Plenty of room and heats up quickly and gets hot. The min to max knob really is not accurate or useful. You pretty much need to turn the nob to the right only because there is very little heat on left minimum side. Not an issue per say- just unnecessary to have this type of feature with minimal heat that couldn't keep anything warm. Love the higher temperature though.
