    chocoroom amalgamation

    opened this within minutes of purchasing it only to find that it most likely melted during transport and hardened into a brick. like the chud i am, i took a bite of the chocobrick only to be met with more dissapointment. see attached image for reference.

    Delicious, but melted during transit.

    These are delicious. I would suggest not ordering them in the mail during the summer. I ordered quite a few packages and they were all melted in one big clump. I brought them into the house as soon as I received them, but I guess I was too hot during transit. I didn’t even think about that when I placed the order.

    the perfect woodland touch on a cake!

    I stumbled upon these in the cookie aisle. One of my children planned to make a snail out of fondant for her birthday cake, and I thought these would make the perfect finishing touch around the snail on the cake. Did they ever! Enchanting and quaint. Not to mention, they are delicious. The chocolate is high quality, not waxy or cheap-tasting -- the combination of the little cookie + chocolate mushroom top tastes a lot like Milano cookies or other specialty cookies (like shortbreads) that have a nice layer or dip of good chocolate. Super tasty, and everyone got two mushrooms per cake slice, with plenty left over... just for fun! So glad I happened across these.

    Great tasty snack

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Meiji are not a strong bitter chocolate taste. I will say I do kinda taste the chocolate oil a little bit but it didn’t bother me. I had in the past from another brand the oil was too much that it made it taste greasy. The chocorooms are perfect snack because they are tiny, I will say they are smaller or almost the same size as a pinky finger. I don’t have any allergies to food, but if you are allergic to coconut or shea nut stay away. The chocolate on top of the mushrooms didn’t melt quick making it easy for my hands not to get sticky.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you like Japanese sweet treats, these are for you. They have the crispy cracker shaped like a mushroom, dipped in chocolate. They have a nice crunch to them and the chocolate melts in your mouth. Not chewy, but I think they’re a great snack. My only issue is the bags are pretty small for how much you pay. Other than that, it’s a good snack or ice scream topper! Worth a try.
