UNSAFE!!!
Just as others have mentioned, this product does not last. We got our kitchen as a gift from family who we don’t see often. Upon assembly of the kitchen, the tabs to secure the stove top were broken off which left TWO large holes on top of the kitchen cook top area. As you can imagine this is UNSAFE AND DANGEROUS as a child could get caught in these holes. I reached out to Melissa and Doug to request replacement, and because it was not purchased within 90 days, they won’t send the pieces. $140 for a broken out of the box kitchen thats unsafe for my children to use. I’m incredibly disappointed in the company, but also the quality of this kitchen. Would absolutely not recommend

Multiple pieces damaged
Terrific pretend kitchen made by Melissa and Doug with nice features like ice maker, and plenty of room inside fridge, oven and cabinet. The item was damaged in multiple places. The worst being the damage to the corner of the microwave door making it unsafe to use and it is irreparable. I recommend this kitchen absolutely, but not shipped from Target. Unfortunately, because it was just days before Christmas, we removed the hundreds of pieces and started to build it before realizing the extent of the damage and cannot return assembled.

Unfortunately we couldn’t put it together the way it was delivered thru fedex was horrible not to mention it was a Christmas gift for my kids. The box was all torn up. Screw were everywhere on the floor. Inside the box. The wood was all scratched up and broken up.

Assembly was relatively simple and the final product is sturdy and super fun for our toddler. The sink piece was broken but we were able to get a free replacement from Melissa & Doug and it arrived very fast. The ice maker is really fun, the range nozzles click, and the microwave turn table can be turned from underneath. Lots of fun!

Missing pieces
We spend 2 hours assembling this kitchen which would’ve been fine if we had all of the pieces. When we were about 90% finished we realized we were missing the frame for the freezer door. Now the kitchen is complete with big pilot holes visible on the freezer door. It looks ridiculous.

Door handles break easily and cannot be replaced
Overall, an extremely disappointing purchase. My 3 year old broke one of the flimsy door handles and the Melissa and Doug, unfortunately, does not allow you to purchase replacement parts. Overall, I would say it is not a good value for the money. If a child can easily break a part in typical play as intended you need better parts - or at minimum you need to offer replacement parts for purchase. This is now an oversized pile of garbage.

Middle piece was broken. It’s clear somebody tried to glue it together and repaint it with the wrong color paint… but we are past our return date because this was a gift for our daughter who wasn’t ready to use it but now she is… this company is cheating the system Trying to sell broken goods and hoping parents like us get it as a gift and don’t open it for a while.

Love it so much!
I received this kitchen in the mail today and am so happy with it. It only took me an hour and 15 minutes to put together and it wasn’t difficult at all. I’m impressed by the quality and sturdiness although the doors aren’t as sturdy as a regular piece of furniture but I don’t think it’s bad. My 1.5 year old daughter is going to be so excited when she sees this in the morning and I’m very happy with my purchase. I feel like every little kid needs one of these and I should have gotten it for her sooner.
