Not As Pictured
It is not as pictured. It did not come the green feet to stabilize it and the shelf labels are not the same as in the picture (This was gifted to my daughter and I was very excited about the label names and very disappointed with the generic ones I received.)

Lasted the test of time
We’ve had this exact one for over 4 years, and we’ve moved 3 times with it. It’s almost time to give it away but my youngest still plays with it sometimes. My 4 year old Godson was just over and loved it so much I was planning to buy this for him- I wonder if the manufacturing changed? Our parts are all perfectly in tact and our scanner still works.

Be careful! I have to say the whole experience has been disappointing with this product. We purchased and the fridge door snapped off with minimal use. Then the pen that comes with the keypad fell off. As many have stated here, we contacted Melissa & Doug multiple times, with very little help. The first time we called, the agent said that the replacement parts were out of stock and to call back next week. We then called a second time only to be given the run around that we needed to provide receipts and pictures. We did this and then they told us there was nothing they could do to help us and that they didn't have replacement parts. We called third time, to be told that nothing could be done and that we should purchase a brand new product! (It seems they updated the fridge door on the most recent model). As many have mentioned here, the customer service has just gone down hill. It's too bad because we were Melissa & Doug faithful.

Not the quality I expected for the price
Pretty disappointed with the quality of this grocery store. For the price I expected better, we purchased it in the fall as a Christmas gift for my 2 year old,along with most of the available accessories and just over 90 days later the fridge door is already broken, the scanner picks and chooses when to work and this is definitely NOT wood. As we also have a younger child, we hoped that this would last a few years for them both to enjoy, at this rate I have doubts whether it will last until next Christmas.

Scanner broken
I bought this for my son for Christmas and the scanner has already broken. Pretty disappointed for the price of this it should be functioning. Seems like it’s a big issue with this product.

Refridgerator door design flaw - made cheaply
As many others have mentioned the refrigerator door is there in or. A clip broke with normal children’s play. Nothing rough. Contacted the company and they responded that they can’t help me with a replacement part. Even “a paid replacement part”. Upon looking further into the company their customer service is apparently extremely lacking.

Grocery Mart issue
Bought the fresh mart for grandkids for Christmas and they love it but the design of the refrigerator door is flawed. Just a little plastic clip that has broken off with minimal use. Very disappointed
