This cash register is so cute and perfect. I had gotten a wooden cash register for aesthetic looks, and about 2 minutes in to playing with my toddler I was like okay this is so boring and lame! So I went to Target the next day and got this! So much more fun!!!! And good quality for price!

This is such a cute little toy my toddler picked out on a recent target trip! It’s nice and small so I don’t feel overwhelmed with it in the house. It has a beep sound on the scanner but it’s a very non obnoxious quiet beep which I am very thankful for! Also the cutest little speakerphone to make announcements on, love it. The money drawer on ours doesn’t have the best closure, it needs to be closed at the right angle for it to not pop open, but my toddler got the hang of it so I don’t really mind. Adorable little toy for hours of imaginative play!

I bought this for my 14mth old. They enjoy it quite a bit. I have a love/hate with the pre-attached pricing scanner. The cord is too short so the whole thing lifts up as you when you try to scan most things. However, at least you don't lose it. The shopping basket fits in the palm of my hands. It's very little which also means the food items are small. I like that the machine makes sound and you can open the drawer. The microphone is also a bit too short, another 2 inches would have been idea. Durable product. We've had it accidently fall off the coffee table a couple of times and it's without issue still. Overall, worth the price and is a fun starter playset.

Bang for the buck
I’m not sure you can do any better for the price - it’s adorable, solidly made, great for pretend play, and even though I generally avoid toys with batteries that make noise, nothing about this bothers me. All of the extra items (grocery basket, play food, play money) are unnecessary but helpful since we had this sent to a vacation home where we don’t have any other toys. I’m already thinking of who I might gift one to for birthdays or Christmas.

Of all of the toy cash register, this is probably the best quality. It does have some drawbacks. The drawer of the register, like every other toy register isn't made so well and therefore not so useful. I don't know why it's so complicated to make an operational drawer.

I dislike that the dollar bills are just paper, so they'll crinkle if not cared for, plus, I ripped two bills as I was setting up the toy for play. I'm glad I didn't offer the task to my 4 year old. I also dislike how the cash drawer shoots open so intensely that it sends coins flying at me when I press the OPEN button, but overall I'm very thankful that it works so well. There's a working calculator! There's a little tiny working microphone! My son LOVES to ask overhead: how much is the ______, today? I'll be replacing the money with just an inactive, life-size payment type card (there is a dedicated place to slide cards, but nowadays it's Tap to Pay so...not too worried about that) and using the cash drawer for storing reusable receipts :). There's an easily accessible On/Off button. There's a great sound of being 'Rung Up' but assigned to an odd button. The button is going to randomly spin and present you with an item and it's price. I don't know why you'd want to ring up things at random; what if they're not buying that item? Strange. We used this to ring up customers at our Chocolate Shoppe. Felt candies from Target, reusable Guest Receipts from Target, stackable wire baskets from Target. WE LOVE THIS TOY.
