Q: What is the point in the batteries? We put batteries and nothing happened. The sink does not even turn on

submitted by Battery use - 10 months ago

  • A: This happened to me too. I pushed the faucet down into the base and it worked. Good luck.

    submitted byMama2 - 5 months ago

  • A: The exact thing happened to us. We even bought brand new batteries and tried multiple times. Wont even turn on

Q: Does the faucet actually turn on and spray water?

submitted by Krupe10 - 11 months ago

  • A: The Target staff answer is incorrect, the faucet does spray water. You can see it in one of the picture.

submitted bylee - 10 months ago

  • A: Yes it does, they are wrong 🤭

submitted byMonsterMommy - 10 months ago

  • A: Hello Guest - Great Question! Thank you for your interest in this amazing Item! No, the faucet on the Gigglescape Kitchen Sink Play Set does not actually turn on or spray water. It is a pretend play feature only. Hope this information helps! – Luke.

Q: Purchased brand new product but after trying multiple batteries it still does not turn on. Water is supposed to come out from faucet.

submitted by Very disappointed - 9 months ago

  • A: Yup. Same here. Even tried rotating the batteries the opposite way and nothing i did ever made this darn thing turn on or make even the slightest noise like it was trying to work. Annoying! My baby was so excited and then… 💩 👎

Q: Why is it that I put batteries, water up to line and the water does not come out of faucet ? So disappointed

submitted by Water faucet - 7 months ago

  • A: Hi Water faucet - I apologize for the inconvenience. I kindly request you to reach out to guest services on 1-800-591-3869 and they'd be happy to help you. They are available during the normal business hours of 7 am to 10 pm CST. Happy shopping at Target! - Emma

Q: Is the faucet supposed to stay in while they play? We just got it and we have to push it down and hold it to have it run. Seems counterintuitive, will return if it is meant to be that way

submitted by Susu - 9 months ago

  • A: I don’t think it’s supposed to be like that haha. Mine also comes out easily- but also doesn’t work even when pushing down so it’s a double whammy of issues. Hope you were able to replace it!

submitted byLissylynne - 8 months ago

Q: What is recommended care between uses to ensure that mold doesn’t grow in the motor/pump area? I can not open it to ensure it fully dries or to clean it. Wondering what is recommended.

submitted by Sydney - 4 months ago

Q: Does the top snap into the base or just rest on top? My kid had a different play sink and is constantly taking the top off and getting water everywhere lol

submitted by Sarah - 5 months ago

Q: Is this kitchen set free of lead, phalates, pvc and bpa?

submitted by Hsmith - 6 months ago

Q: It works y’all. It’s a pump. You have to get the water in the pump.

submitted by R H - 6 months ago

Q: It would be nice to hear what type of plastic is used in this product and if it is BPA-free. There are several people asking this question and no answer. Makes one wonder.

The BEST play sink, but has fragile internals

Unfortunately, a plastic component inside the play sink broke after less than two weeks-- but in those two weeks it was used daily, sometimes for hours at a time. My toddler is absolutely obssessed with running water, so we've tried 3 play sinks so far (the other two from Lovevery and B. Toys.) The Gigglescape design is my favorite for the unique features and accessories. The built-in stove burners and included pots naturally expand play to include pretend cooking and eating. The dish rack can be hooked onto the outside of the sink to maximize sink space, or placed inside the sink to contain drips. We also loved the generous amount of play dishes and silverware included here, and have continued using them after the sink broke. If the internal parts were more durable, this would be 10 out of 5 stars from me. We were ultimately able to repair our sink after shimming a part inside the pump assembly, and I'm hoping my son will enjoy it for many more hours of play.

Even with new batteries and a basin filled with the max amount of water the faucet does not work. It’s basically plastic garbage.

Fun for one day

Very confused on the faucet. It worked the first time and then I noticed you had to dry it out and then it would work again, but then it stopped working. Now it just takes up space 😬

This is a must have. My 1+ year old loves it. He is highly entertained and I have placed it next to my kitchen sink counter so while I wash the dishes he does too. Highly recommend it.

For the price, this is a good play sink. Other reviews commented that it broke quickly and I wonder if it has to do with the sink plug. It can be left open and keeps closing on itself, which could cause the pump to overwork. We cut the connector but so the stopper can be removed during play.

Great

Comes with pots and pans and plates and such. Needs to be filled up quite a bit to get the faucet running strong. But it’s a pretty good little play sink.
