Quality Gone Downhill
I bought this kit 5 years ago and it was terrific. My daughter played with it constantly. We bought a new one for my son recently and it’s SO much cheaper. Cheaper plastic, smaller items…the quality of toys has become pathetic.

Melissa & Doug vs Gigglescape
I like a lot of the items in this kit. However, the stethoscope is garbage. It snapped when my 2 year old tried to put it on. There are some great educational pieces, and I like that reflex and ear tool are one piece of plastic instead of something that could break apart over time. I ended up getting the Gigglescape kit too, and there are pieces from each kit that I like and dislike. I like the bandages from the Gigglescape kit more, pet hairs don't stick to them as easily as the fleece bandages in this Melissa and Doug kit. The Gigglescape stethoscope is way better. It makes heart beat noises with a button and my kid is obsessed with checking every toys heart to make sure they are healthy :)

Unsafe for kids
I was highly disappointed in the Melissa and Doug “ Get Well Doctor Kit “ The stethoscope is extremely dangerous and tight. When my child puts it on it hurts her ears it’s so tight! Then it’s very tough to remove from around her neck. I highly recommend NOT purchasing. Really upset with this purchase will be asking for a full refund
