    The Athens Boot aka The Pilgrim 1's My Go-To Boot

    My name is Reid, Reid Brown but you can call me Sam. I own these beautiful boots and i absolutely love the buckle. Anyone who says its not good is a dern liar. I use these for casual work daily. I have not yet tested the waterproof system but i have a date with the sink and these boots coming up and i will update my review following my testing. These boots will knock your socks off and keep them dry. If i could give it 6 stars i would. Please keep making these boots.

    These boots are very nice

    My sister was looking around for some boots for me around Christmas, I said sis take a look at Georgia boots here, I sent her a picture of these and she said well I thought I was looking at some boots but nothing like the Georgia boots, Georgia boots ar the best I've ever put on, this Arkansas boy is hooked on Georgia, thank you so much for nice footwear.

    tight fit for a wide

    very nice boots. however I bought an 11 wide and usually wear an 10.5 medium or ide and they were really hard to get on with the buckle unbuckled for a wide. once on, great boots. If you wear a heavier sock, I'd get another half size larger, tight fir

    Soles don't last, leather tears easily.

    The soles on these boots lasted a year before peeling away from the boot. They're not easily resoled, and none of the shoe repair shops around me have the equipment to repair them. They also didn't have a comfortable break-in. The leather around the toe easily tears. Wouldn't buy these again.

    Good comfortable boot

    The boots only lasted about 8 months. Started separating from the sole on the side and the toe started separating from the sole . . Bad thing is I let him sit in the Box for 4 months before I started wearing them. The warranty just ran out on 8/15 3weeks ago

    Great boot but the straps in the back are crap

    After 3 pairs of the Irish setter side zips i decided to try these. I have had them 2 weeks. They seem like they are built well. They are comfortable and they have a wide option which i like. My only complaint so far is the strap in the back should be a loop so you can get them on easier. hard to get a grip on the small piece of flat leather they just stitched on the back.

    Good boot but doesn’t last long

    I bought this boot and wore very lightly for 4 months. The 10-15 time wearing them the sole began to peel off which let water start to soak my feet. Very comfortable for the first 2 months while the sole is still on them.

    Great boot, but doesn’t last.

    I am a electrician, so I’m constantly going up and down ladders, lifts, etc. The stitching on the side is coming apart and the sole is starting to fall apart and separate. Thus letting water in the boot. I bought this boot at the beginning of this yeaaround February. On the other side, very comfortable, didn’t have any blister or foot problems during the breaking in period. I probably wouldn’t buy this again though.

    these boots are a perfect fit and when I put these boots on for the 1st time I knew these were going to be the boots for me . No ankle or heel rubing . I buy boots for standing and walking comfort and I give this boot a 10 for walking comfort and a 7 for long time standing .I would like Georgia on there next design to have an all leather boot with side zip .

    Needs Improvement!

    I ordered a size larger than I usually wear, because I have large ankles and have a hard time getting my leg in boots. I thought the side zipper would help, but it does not go down far enough to allow the boot to open up.. I could not get my foot into the boot. There is a straight tab on the back of the boot, but not a circular one that you can get your finger in to help pull the boot up.

    Possible the best boot

    This boot is the best boot I’ve ever had. It broke in very quick and is super comfortable. I can’t speak to the durability but I have a feeling it’s going to last for years to come.
