Men's Rocky Outback GORE-TEX® Waterproof Snake Boot

The leather is very stiff and takes time breaking it in. I'm sure it's a great boot once broken in, but it's still breaking my foot. Not wide enough even for a wide.

I live in Arkansas, and it is already hot here. I have been able to wear my boots with very little break in. They are the best snake boots I have every put on!

I have worn Rocky boots for many years now and these snake boots are a replacement for another brand that I was not happy with, I had to save almost 18 months in order to purchase but living in this day and time on a fixed income (DISABLED VETERAN) you do what you have to do. Fit of the boot is true to size and very comfortable to wear. I have no doubt that I will get years of service from these boots, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND ROCKY PRODUCTS!!!

I recently purchased two pairs of these snake Boots. One for my 12-year-old daughter and a pair for my wife. Both of them like how light they are and are very comfortable. A solid choice if you're looking to purchase snake boots.

Bought a pair online. They run a little small but the exchange process was great! Exchanged them and love them. The break in process was quick, can’t wait to take them up the mountain.

I’m going to start with the only downside I’ve found on these boots, they don’t have great ankle support. That being said I probably abuse these boots more than most would. I spend a lot of time in the hills and would feel like if it was just a matter of time before i got bit by a rattle snake. I knew about snake boots but didn’t want to spend the money until one day I realized that spending some money on snake boots that are designed to protect you from snake bites is a much more comfortable situation than having to deal with a snake bite. I don’t think these boots are designed for hiking but I hike somewhat gnarly terrain on them often. I have even ridden my mountain bike down a trail with technical features a few times after working on a trail. I love how comfortable these are and the confidence boost they give me when trekking through the hills makes all of the difference. I originally got these because i didn’t like the camo design on the other boots I was interested in. After having a great experience with these boots I’m even thinking about getting a pair with the camo colors to see how much of a difference laces would make. I would recommend these boots to anyone who spends time in areas where rattle snakes or other types of potentially dangerous snakes can catch one by surprise. In my opinion the confidence boost in itself is worth the purchase.

Bought these right before hunting season. They fit great and no break in period. I have the hiker outback and love them so I thought these would be perfect for hunting hot weather around rattle snakes and they are!

These are premium snake boots; I bought a 9 1/2 (my size) but returned them for a 10; they are tight across the arch too, but they are leather so they will break in.

Got these boots a month ago. I can’t wait until next hunting season to see how they feel after 18 miles of walking several days in a row. They seem to be great quality like all my Rocky Brand products.

Nice boots. Even though they don't have women's size 8.5. I got men's 7.5, they are slightly bigger, but will keep them. Very comfortable.

I am pleased with my purchase. The boots fit well and my research revealed that they were made in America.

I ordered a mans7 ( I wear a womans 9) . I find the heel a little deep for women, so put in a heel pad inside with Med-heavy socks. Love these boots! The come up to my knee. Comfortable to walk in.

I bought a pair and they won’t fit in the calves. Great product for skinny legs.

Looked to be a great product when I got them, however when I received them the top of the boots at the calf were tight. Uncomfortably so. I know they work for a lot of people oh, I wish they had for me. For the record I tried getting the wide and I have a size larger. That worked for my foot which is normally a regular 10 but not for the my calf.

I bought 11 W boots as I normally wear 10.5 W boots and even with thin compression socks the boots were a very tight fit. Also I do not consider my calf’s to be large (I’m 61 yrs old) and the boots would not zip up in the back all the way nor would the Velcro straps at the top connect. For the price I paid for the boots I am very dissatisfied.

Loved the look and construction of the boots. But had to return due to tight fit across arch. Have worn the regular Outback boots for years, any chance these snake boots could be made in a lace up style?
