This is the ROCKY® S2V Composite Toe Tactical Military Boot in Coyote Brown, a comfortable and durable solution to the world's toughest field conditions. This uniform-compliant boot is approved for wear with all applicable Operational Camouflage Pattern variations.The composite toe meets ASTM standards to ensure your foot is protected from falling objects big or small. Made of flash-resistant, water-resistant leather and 1,000-denier nylon, this combat boot is coated for flame resistance. Drainage vents and the premiere Rocky S2V Sieve technology help to improve breathability and keep your feet dry. The durable, triple-stitched military boot stays together through wear and tear, and reduces ankle injuries with Roll-Stop Ankle Stability. The stretch comfort fit tongue always ensures a secure fit. This boot has a Vibram sole with proprietary high walls and a PU midsole. Very comfortable

Good boots, very comfortable and light since they have the composite toe. They squeak a lot, no idea why but it's with every step my right boot squeaks.

Great boot but they squeak

I have owned two pairs of these boots and both of them squeak and honk with every step. Ironic that one of the S stands for stealth. Not even close. They are otherwise excellent, that's why I gave them a second chance only to hear that squee honk with every step.

They make noise

These boots make noise when I walk.I've returned one pair already and now they're making noise also. The noise is a scrunching sound. Very annoying.

Not that great.

Decent boot but not designed for constant wear. Within 8 months the stitching connecting the soles came out on both boots around the toes and down the sides. Kinda expected to get a little more out of them before they completely fell apart on me.

My go to. Only good tactical composite toe boot.

Only good composite toe tactical boot from rocky, no break in period and sizing is spot on, I suggest going with wides though.

Great Boots

This is my third pair of the S2V boots. I have bad ankles and gait disturbances from an Active Duty spinal cord injury. Before owning these boots, I would often turn my ankles and fall, very seldom do I do that in these boots. The boots stabilize my gait.

Too narrow for me

Comfy footbed but wide was not wide enough for me, the safety toe rubbed so had to return. Nice looking boots, interesting sole design.

Heavy, but comfortable

These boots are the heaviest boots I have worn that are AR-670-1 compliant. Despite that, they feel comfortable on my feet and the composite toe is much warmer in the cold than a steel toe boot. They are a bit pricey as well, but if these wear like their S2V non safety boot, they will last for about 3 years with insert changes regularly. These are great for shop wear, but I wouldn't recommend them for a long ruck.

Perfect Boot to get the job done

I recently purchased my first pair of Rocky's S2V Composite toe boots and I couldn't be happier. They felt comfortable from the very first time I laced them up. Got caught in a downpour for several hours and they kept my feet dry as a bone. The ankle and arch support is outstanding. The may be my first but they won't be my last!!

I didn't expect to like these as much as I do.

I needed something with a bigger toe box and a safety toe. After trying nearly a dozen other brands and styles I tried these on. They were comfortable out of the box, and never needed a break in period. I've worn them every day for a month now, and I have nothing negative to say. They seem to hold up well, and believe me, I put them through the test. I am walking through construction sites, forest brush, Climbing communication towers and that sort of abuse every week, and some weeks every day. I expect I'll be buying another pair soon. Thanks for making such an awesome work boot here in America.

Great boots

Navy service member that loves these boots. They fit good and the composite toe is great as well because it doesn’t dissipate heat from my toes in colder environments. These boots are airy and stay dry. They wide sizing fits perfectly as well. I would definitely recommend these boots!

Great boots received a slight irregular pair

The right boot was irregular with a minor sewing defect and some other noticeable irregularities. This may be due to the various discounts that were applied at checkout. The left boot was perfect in every detail. I have a 10.5 W that requires thick Smartwool socks and a sock liner to fill the voids. Very comfortable boot with the exception of the irregular right boot that when closed tightly had the Nato loops touching.

Toe box is to small

If you're going to make a wide version of your boot, you have to make the composite toe cap bigger also. I could not get my toes in the boot comfortably. I had to return them, I never had them on my feet long enough to lace them up. These seen like really nice boots, and I would like to keep them.

3rd pair

Love the looks. I wear these boots every day working in a manufacturing environment. I needed a safety toe boot that wasn't insulated and waterproof...surprisingly difficult to find. My first pair was awesome. They were very comfortable and lasted a year and a half of abuse. The second pair not so awesome. I think Rocky changed the insoles because they didn't have near the cushion that the first pair did; this pair didn't hold up to wearing either developing a hole on the side in less than a year of use. This is my 3rd pair and will determine if there will be a fourth. These are somewhere in between on the soles...not as comfortable as the first pair but better than the second. There quality and durability will be the determining factor

Great boots outta the box

I ordered theses boots and so far I really like them composite toe so much better then the steel toe. Soles are a little stiff for my liking but I'm sure they will break in. They are a little pricey but hope to get alot of life outta them but time will tell. I have never had good luck with rocky boots I have always destroyed them in less then 6 months hopefully get more than that outta these as they were highly recommended
