    Great comfort

    This is my sixth set of these boots, my absolute favorite, for ruck marching, and daily wear; requiring zero break in, they are comfortable right out of the box. One complaint I have and maybe this is a trade off for the comfort is that I only get about 9 months and the soles are shot, worn through a very expensive boot to replace every 9 months.

    Best boots on the market.

    Easily the best boots I’ve ever worn. They’re light and comfortable out of the box with minimal break in period. I can’t believe I subjected my feet to standard issue boots for 8 years before buying these.

    Frustrated

    I’ve worn the same style Rocky boots for several years. I’ve always worn Rockies because their wide size is wide. They’ve changed the size of wide and it’s not as wide as before and squeezes my feet.

    Get what you pay for

    This Boot is rather pricey, but one needs to ask themselves what they can afford and what price do you pay for comfort and wearability. This type of boot is used by the U.S.N., and possibly other Branches of service. It's not only a durable comfortable boot but it is stylish for everywhere wear. I had a difficult time finding the "Right fit" (Size), but Rocky was very easy to work with regarding exchanges and credits. As long as these boots are made to the specs they are today, I will buy them again and again. Everyone's feet and wear are different, so this is my feet talking.

    Excellent Boot, Very Comfortable All Day!

    I have had these boots for about 6 months now. So far, they are fantastic. Very comfortable for all day wear & hard work. Seem very durable, but the jury will be out on that until they last a couple of years. As long as they continue to hold up, I will definitely buy another pair!

    Awesome boots

    These boots survived being submerged every day and put on the boot dryer every night for three months straight. They drain and dry quickly, they did not come apart at all.

    Best for off-trail hiking

    I've been using S2Vs for a few years now. They're my go-to boots for off-trail hiking, land navigation, uneven terrain, etc. They aren't my #1 for speed rucks on flat roads, but for everything else they're my #1

    Comfortable boot. But quality diminishing.

    I really loved these boots when I was in the military but it seems the couple of pairs I went through in the last few years have not been quite the same. I've noticed they sweak and squawk a lot and this most recent pair feels like it's unglued and crunches below my feet.

    Best boots I've ever had.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been buying boots every year because I tear through them and they fall apart until I started buying Rocky mountain boots I bought it once I've had it for a while now and I've put it through the ringer I wear them everywhere all over my Ranch I even wear them on vacation from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean, they get wet they get Sandy they get dirty and I absolutely love them they just don't fade or fall apart. I might have to buy another pair of a different style now that I found a boot that actually last and can take a beating. Rocky mountain boots I appreciate you guys and the quality work you do.

    Good buy

    Love the zipper. It did kind of hurt around the ankles, like some other reviewers said, but now that I've broken them in, its fine. I wish the laces were pinned down. I try tucking them in but they always pop back out but I'll just safety pin them. Would buy them again.

    Great durability

    Best boots for spot and stalk hunting

    Bought these boots for hunting out west in Wyoming. Very well made and needed no breaking in. Great ankle and arc support. Hunted all day in rough terrain no issues at all. Recommend these boots.

    Good enough

    I have 4 pair of Rocky’s. These are the only pair I don’t like wearing. I suppose I might get used to the steel toe, but I hate having to wear them. Regular SV2s are fine, just hot in a warm climate.

    The most comfortable work- hiking boot you can buy! I’m 66 and had lots of boots in my life.On my 4th set. Soul is a little soft but built for the off road. Good enough for the Troops Good enough for Me!

    Leave the house, these are on my feet. Great ankle support. Better for softscape but hold up well in my suburban environment. On my fourth pair and can not see any reason to look elsewhere for a more comfortable and durable boot.

    Favorite boots of all.

    Love these boots. After two military enlistments, my feet have made their home in more boots than I can count. Rocky S2Vs are my favorite hands down. This is at least my fourth pair of Rocky S2Vs and will gladly buy another when these wear out in a few years.
