"I am not a firm believer in the traditional forms for dieting because frankly I do not think that they work and they are typically not effective in the long term weight loss. That being said this book addresses and confirms that very concern and offers a sustainable method of shedding those unwanted pounds. I love the idea of eating healthy fats to lose body fat, it really works. It is something that the S.A.D. or standard American Diet does not condone or promote and may just be the very reason for the ongoing obesity epidemic in this country. There is TONS of great information in this book. I especially love the suggested meal plans. There were a few suggested food items that I didn't agree with, (like hotdogs...GROSS!), but they are very easily substituted for other forms of protein and fat. The only other thing I wish the author would have addressed would be the importance of eating organic and non-GMO. All in all it was a great read, which will leave you with a clear path towards starting the Military Diet today."
