Fatally Flawed
I have installed many ceiling and wall lights. Comparatively, this 5225-bn is very sturdy. However, I have two issues with it. The first issue: it take 3 light bulbs, we installed 3 sixty watt bulbs for a total of 180 watts; but it did not shine brightly in our 9 x 12 foot room. I suppose the white frosted cover is too opaque for a lot of light to make it through. We tried to replace the bulbs with 75 watts. This is how we unfortunately discovered the fatal flaw: It take about 1 hours to simply change a light bulb. You cannot remove a light bulb without shutting off the circuit to the light, taking the whole fixture off the ceiling and disconnecting all the wiring. The problem is there are two screws coming down from the electrical box in the ceiling. You attached the base to the ceiling by pushing the screws through two holes in the base and then rotating the base so it is now resting on the head of the screws; then tighten the screws. You attached the white cover on the base by rotating it into the base. Because the cover goes on very snug, when you try to remove it to change a light bulb, by rotating the cover, the base rotates with the cover and detaches from the ceiling. The only way to separate the cover from the base is to disconnect the whole unit from the ceiling (wires and all) and then, with a great deal of effort, twist the cover off the base. Spending an hour or more just to replace a light bulb is ridiculous.

Minimalist lighting
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't a fan of the light that was in my dining room when I moved in so this was a nice upgrade. This has a very sleek and minimalist design which I like. Finance was griping a bit while putting it up but got it up fairly quickly. The biggest issue is both the screws were not quite the right size.

Beautiful light fixture
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Millennium Lighting 3-light flush mount ceiling light in brushed nickel came securely packaged and with everything that you need to install. It is a beautiful, minimalist, and modern fixture. I like that the dome is a matte finish and not shiny. I cannot wait for our remodel to be completed with this light fixture! Thank you Influenster and Millennium Lighting for the complimentary ceiling light fixture!

Lovely light over my kitchen table
Lovely light. The only problem is the shade with LED bulbs does not allow sufficient light for me to read under at my kitchen table. Electrician said if I use LED I could up the wattage from 60 to 100 for each of the 3 bulbs, which I did. Now I can read in day, but still a bit of a strain at night.

5225 3 light in bronze finish
We are very pleased with our new lights. They are simple, but elegant. We ordered them for our dark lower level.
