Millennium Lighting 3 - Light Vanity in Matte Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am absolutely obsessed with this millennium lighting, three light vanity in matte black. This looks so sharp and I can’t wait to actually add it into our spare bathroom! It definitely gives high-quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately, after opening the box, I found that all 3 of the seeded glass shades were damaged in some way. Shade number 1 was noticeably scratched. Shade number 2 was also noticeably scratched, and it had a small chip out of the open end. The 3rd shade had black marks on it (that don't seem to come off), and a red blotch. I'm guessing that the scratches and chip happened due to the bubble wrap around the shades being quite thin and unsecured. Anyway, this matte black vanity light has 3 spaces for standard E26 lightbulbs (Max. 100 W Type A). The shades are wide enough to accommodate ST19 vintage Edison style LED bulbs. According to the icons on the box, the fixture is damp rated. An installation guide is included and the process was simple. As for its appearance, I like the smooth, matte black finish. The rounded backplate compliments the shape of the glass shades. However, I don't particularly love the look of the seeding because it is very inconsistent. There are a few large gaps where there isn't any seeding present, which makes the shades appear unfinished. The main bar portion is 22 inches long, which would fit well above a single, average sized bathroom sink. I decided to orient the fixture downward because I prefer the look when the fully open portion of the shades face the floor. It provides enough light for a small bathroom. Depending on the placement, I think this light could also work in an entryway, a mud room, or a hallway.

If you have wired a light fixture before then this installation is pretty straight forward. Otherwise, the directions are a little vague and you may need to watch a diy video. I easily installed this light on my own in about 20 minutes. I love the deisgn and the sleek matte look. The seeded glass adds a touch of texture. I haven't figured out the perfect bulb for this bathroom just yet. You can use up to 100w. I have been swapping out daylight/soft white and im currently at 60w trying to decide. This fixture will compliment my chunky black mirror when it arrives. Overall, i think its a very nice quailty fixture.

The instructions seem very easy to follow and should be a breeze to install. It’s delicate looking yet sturdy. Very very happy with this piece.

This light feature is perfect in my hall bathroom.

Overall height dimension is 10” INCLUDING THE BACKPLATE. Description on website said overall height is 7.88” which is NOT ACCURATE. Very disappointing.

This light fixture replaced an older fixture in our bathroom remodel. The clear glass is very attractive; it took some trial and error to find the right light bulbs that enhanced it.

Lovely in our renovated bathroom—elegant, yet not fussy. The markings on the glass add special interest. Would definitely recommend.

I’m very pleased by the quality and appearance of this fixture. Beautiful with LED light bulbs that dim for a sparkling bright and a calming low. They were installed by the remodelers so no comment on ease of installation.
